Comparing Safari and Microsoft Edge

Hello everyone. Recently, I've been trying out Microsoft Edge on Mac. I'm liking it so far... I've discovered it having a few things that Safari doesn't... also, it seems to load web pages a tad faster as well.
Have any of you tried out Edge on Mac and what do you think of it compared to Safari? Would you start using it as your main web client? My only thing is how to somehow copy all my saved passwords from Safari to Edge... If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know in the comments section.

Thank you so much.

I love Microsoft Edge!
You can import your favorites, passwords and other data by opening edge, signing into your Microsoft account, and then finding and clicking the appropriate option within the menu.
I'm using it on my iphone, to type this comment.
Note: if you don't have a Microsoft account, you'll need to create one, if you have one already though, just sign-in, and you're good to go.

Hi thank you so much for responding. Yeah that's a great idea. My saved passwords are on my Apple ID though, since I'm using Safari... How would I transfer them to a Microsoft Account to put them in Edge? I do have a Microsoft account.

Hi,
If you haven't already done so, download Microsoft Edge, and sign-in to your account.
Next, locate the import item, in system preferences, which can be accessed by pressing command comma.
When it asks where to import from, choose safari, and ensure the checkboxes for each data type you want imported are checked.
When you're ready, click, "import" and your data will be there within a few seconds.

It's extremely fast and easy.

With Edge 88, your open tabbbs can even sync to your iphone or ipad, as long as you're using Edge there too.

I'm using Edge now on the mac. Thanks so much for your help. By the way, when importing everything from Safari, I didn't see an option about passwords... I did see that in another part of settings though. Hope everything transfered over.

Hi,
I'm so glad I was able to help you get up and running with edge, and that you like it.

I'm not sure where they'd be, but I think there's a "passwords" section somewhere in the menus.
Look for that, open it, and see if all your passwords are there. If you checked the relevant checkbox, they should have imported. As I said earlier, if you have edge on other devices such as an iPhone or iPad, everything will sync to those two, as long as you are signed into the same Microsoft account on all devices.

Anyone, who uses this browser on iOS 13/14, can you use scroll bars on web-pages?
