I suggest making a list of things you are looking for since a lot of this comes down to personal sircomstances.

Are you looking at the 11 Pro and the 12 mini because you want a smaller phone?

Do you already know that you don't want the 2020 SE?

How much storage do you really need? A good way to figure this out is to go have a look in settings/general/iPhone storage and look at what apps are taking up the most space. I went through and perged a bunch of apps from my XR in preparation for setting up my 12 mini, but only got rid of about a gig of space. Even so, I find I've only used about half of my current phone's 64 gigs, so could've got by with the lowest storage tier again.

Just some things to consider.

I finally got my mini working last night after having to reset and start over when restoring from my old phone froze. Now that it's working though, I love it! I forgot how much more I like the smaller phones because they are narrower which makes them fit in my hand a lot better, and makes BSI a lot easier! (I use it all that time.)

The only thing I miss from my XR is the battery life. I've already had to top up the mini once today, but it's not as big of a deal as it used to be since I can just plug it into the 20 wat charger for about 15 minutes and get a reasonable amount of charge back.

The iPhone 12 Mini is almost the same size as the original iPhone SE from what I've heard. It's important to note that the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 12 (regular model, not Pro or Mini), are the same size, despite the latter having more screen real-estate. I personally wouldn't recommend purchasing a 1-year-old phone if you can help it, as you will get fewer years of software updates. The 12 Mini's battery life seems to be slightly lack-luster, especially when 5G is in use; the regular 12 has great battery from what I've seen online. I'd recommend getting the regular 12 or Mini with a battery case. Regarding storage capacity, upgrading from base levels of storage for any iPhone is very expensive, so you might want to go with the Mini if you need lots of storage and cost becomes an issue. Hope this helps.

From what you've said of your own situation, i think a 265gb model of either the basic iphone 11 or the iphone 12 mini might best for you.

Unless you want the 512gb storage I see no reason to get the 11pro.
