playing audio in talking communities chat room

Hello, all. I need to play audio in talking communities chat rooms with my mic muted. (in short, to accomplish what windows user call stereo mix) I have been informed that either Audio hijack pro or Sound flower will accomplish this but I am unclear which one will. How do I use sound flower correctly so as to avoid losing speech when playing the music? Also, is it possible to record talking communities conferrences with audio hijack or sound flower?
