Hi AppleVis,

Karthik from Envision here. We are having a holiday sale at Envision AI where we are offering all our subscription plans at a discount of 30% for the month of December! This applies to our monthly, annual and lifetime subscriptions! So if you have been on the edge about subscribing to this constantly improving service, now would be a great time to come on board.

For those who might not know, Envision AI is a multi-talented visual recognition tool that can read text from any surface, recognise faces, describe scenes, scan barcodes, detect colours and more. The area that we really stand from other such app is in the accuracy and speed of our text recognition features. There is also a lot of thought put behind making the app easy to use and operate. The app is free to install and comes with a 14-day free trial with no strings attached, so you can totally experience the app before you decide to support it.

The thing that we are most proud of is our engagement with the users and how we use the feedback we get to continuously push out updates with new features and improvements. There is still definitely scope for improvement, and to be honest there will always be. But with your support and constant feedback, we can build the best recognition tool for you.

Here's a quick link to the AppStore: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/envision-ai/id1268632314

As always, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Best regards,
Karthik from Envision

I started the free trial of Envision AI last week. I am not satisfied with the results I get, compared to similar apps. Will removing the app from my phone before a subscription plan starts cancel everything?

This is an app I use daily, and except for insidental OCR with Voice Dream Scanner has become my go-to for all scanning. It does have a slight learning curve in terms of making it as fast and as accurate as possible. One thing to ensure is that, if you're scanning one of the latin based languages, you turn on offline scanning mode. It drastically speeds up your scanning. One thing they do need to fix is being able to manually turn on the flashlight or not, but that's my only real gripe. It even reads handwriting, which is not something many can boast. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try. It's worth at least that much. And if you're having trouble, reach out. They really do seem to consider people's feedback judging by the features which have been updated over the last couple years.
