It is a bug I firstly noticed last year when mac os catalina came out. When Voice over reads a longer text that has multiple sentences and I press control to let voice over stop reading, Voice over stops reading for a moment and after a while, it continues reading at the next sentence. Now, by the mac os big sur update, the behavior kept almost the same, but now, there is no break between the sentences. Voice over starts reading the next sentence immediately after I pressed control to stop reading.
Is this a certain feature of Voice over that allows easier navigation or something similar? Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

Hi.
I also realize that interesting situation. But I think it is a Bug, not a change to a feature. Because now there is no key command for pausing or stopping Voiceover to read.
