VoiceOver sluggishness in audio apps starting with iOS6, please help!

Hello all. Since upgrading to iOS6 VoiceOver gets sluggish in audio apps such as Garage Band, Korg iKaossilator, Sonos Controller and probably many others. I often end up killing the abusing app(s) when things get really, really slow. :) I was hoping this would get fixed in the latest updates to iOS6 but apparently this did not happen. I want to file a bug against this issue and would like to give Apple as much information as possible. Please suggest other apps you may have seen that express a similar behavior. Ideally, you should be running iPhone 5 or one of the latest iPads. Thanks, Victor

I'm also noticing it to. I can't recall whenit started happening but it takes for me 2 seconds to hear the audio of a letter I push and the lag is so bad it makes some apps unusable.
I actually mentioned this in a previous post regarding what we were hoping for in iOS7. I personally only notice VO sluggishness in apps when using audio. If I'm listening to music mainly. Skype as far as I'm aware doesn't have this issue, but I haven't tested it in a while. But, with music apps like Pandora, Songza, and Apple's native music app, if you've got it playing in the background and then use an app that has a keyboard in it, you'll run across it. This is a little bit obnoxious, and why I posted it in what I'm hoping to be fixed in iOS7.

I do not have many audio apps, but the music, learning ally, and voice brief do not cause any latency for me, even when using a keyboard.

I haven't had any problems with voiceover lately.

One possible issue might be what device you are running iOS6 on. I am running it on an iPhone 4s, and while there is a slight lag when interacting with keyboards while music or other audio is playing in the background, that is to be expected when you consider that the audio levels of the music or other program have to first be dropped in order for the Voiceover voice to obtain the main audio focus. Just a thought. Other than that, I haven't noticed a significant delay in audio.

Hi all. I'm on an iPhone four and no plans to upgrade anytime soon. I've seen this voice over bug come up when entering names for texting, then upon the right one chosen, texting itself. By the time I've written a hello how are you message, there's almost no happiness left, due to the annoyance. But, the strange thing is when you start corospeonding with someone, IE. they reply to you, the voice ovr bug seems to be less common. That would be nice in IOS seven if they fixed that for slightly older devices. But this is about voice over, so there's my bug.
