creating a macro to speak battery percentage when it drops below a certain percentage

Hi, is this possible to do if so how? Example when the battery goes below 20% I would want it to speak battery 19 battery 18 if a bluetooth headset is connected for example.
Yep. iOs 14 has an automation trigger for battery status and percentage. Just make a shortcat which is triggered by your desired percentage and have it say whatever you wish :)
I have created a shortcut that causes the default notification sound and then has Siri announce the battery percentage and says "time to charge." It Then enables low power mode. It isn't possible to share an automation, but it is possible to set up an automated trigger on your phone that will run this shortcut.
Just go to the Shortcuts app and tap the automations tab at the bottom. There will be a "create new automation" button in the top left corner. Choose that option for battery level and then pick run shortcut as the action.
I have attempted to share a link to my shortcut, but I don't know if it will work. I know you have to first run one shortcut, then go to Settings, Shortcuts, and enable use of untrusted shortcuts in order to use it.
This is probably very badly written because I should be asleep instead of dictating complicated directions on my phone. I'll try to answer questions you have later.
This is what was said earlier this year. If someone could do a podcast on this it would be great.
This is an upcoming possibility in iOs 14.
In the Shortcuts app, you could create an automation, set it's trigger to a certain battery level. Then have the automation get battery status and make it say the status out loud with the speak text action. You could also make it switch to lowpower mode or do other actions you might need. https://www.applevis.com/forum/ios-ipados/how-create-macros
Hi everyone. I was just thinking. Could you use this method to change the touch sounds on the phone, like when you double tap on the screen like it does for android, or is there another way to do that in IOS 14?
