Hi all. I downloaded firefox, but I keep running into the same problem. I start up the browser, it's not my default, and as it loads, when I explore with Voice over, it tels me "Firefox, busy." When I let it finish, it will say busy again after I barely knwo what's on the homepage. Does anyone have any tips? otherwise i'll uninstall it.

Hello. I remember you answering my question before, and all you said, was yes it was accessible, now you tell me it isn't. Please, if you're going to answer my questions, would you try and be more detailed? It's a little frustrating, to be honest, when you put one sentence with zero explanation. Please could you attempt to explain why it isn't or perhaps, maybe if you knew of someone else, that could help let me know? I appreciate your comments but they lack substance. Siobhan

Hi Siobhan, at present I would say it's accessable but not to the point and this is my own opinion where you could use it all the time. May I ask which version of Firefox are you using? The release which as of this time is version 20. You might want to try checking for updates in the browser to make sure you have the latest. Or you could try the Nightly build if you really want to give it a test drive! :) I have both the release version and nightly installed on my Mac and while I admit for me I don't use it as my default browser because its not quite there yet in terms of the busy pesterings, I keep updating them both now and then to see how the improvements to Voiceover are going with them. If you really want to have firefox as your default browser you should find such an item in your preferences accessed by command comar under the general tab. Once you've opened this, just use the tab key to get to the desired item and check it with VO Space. After this, just close the pain with command W and all should be saved. Here is a link you should check out. http://www.marcozehe.de/2012/04/30/initial-voiceover-support-now-in-firefox-nightly-builds-for-mac-os-x/ I hope I have helped you a bit. Good luck and let us know how you get on. At least I'll be interested to know.
