Hi, all. I've disabled Picture in Picture in Settings, because I don't want it to be active all the time. I'm wondering if there's a way to enable it on the fly in case I might want to listen to YouTube while checking my email, etc.? I've noticed instructions in the user manual for double-tapping the video or tapping on an icon at the top of the app. Is there a Voiceover gesture for this, or is it necessary to toggle it on and off in Settings? Thanks!

I don't have an answer to your question on a Picture and Picture Shortcut, but since ya brought up the subject (and the news sadly came out today),
"YouTube told Engadget that background playback is a Premium feature. In other words, don’t expect the functionality to return for free users on the mobile web or elsewhere."
I pas that along, just in case folks were thinking there was a bug or something.
