Unable to find the Braille option in WatchOS 7. Is it just my watch that has a problem?

Hello,
I installed the golden master of WatchOS 7 through the public beta program few minutes before it was released. I was super excited to try the rotor as well as braille support. However, the option is not available. I should say that my watch is set in Canadian French. I tried to switch it in English Canada to see if that would fixe the issue. Still the same issue. I have a watch series 5 lte 40 mm. The version number is 7.0. The build number is 18r382. Am I the only one to experience this issue?

Hello, I have an AppleWatch series 3 and I'm running Watch OS 7 and I can't find the braille option either. I know that the series 3 was supposed to be getting braille support, as David Woodbridge from Vision Australia did a really good demo of it on his podcast. I don't think it is just certain languages as my watch is using UK english as I am in the UK and I have tried US english as well, but it didn't make a difference. I wonder if it wasn't ready, so Apple decided to leave it out until it is.

Hello,

I have a series 5 as well.
Braille is indeed an option, & you can find it by navigating to settings/accessibility/voiceover/Braille
Note: a / denotes another menu.
I hope that helps.

I Do not see it. I even thought that IT was because my Braille display was not paired to my phone. I paired IT but that did not solve the issue. I wonder if I am on the public version. The bill number is 18r382.

I didn't find the option either. Logically, it should be located under Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver like on the phone. Another question is however what Bluetooth protocole is supported and if your refreshable Braille device supports more than one Bluetooth connection at once. I guess we'll have to wait until WatchOS 7.1!

The braille menu has been removed from the public release. It is still in the beta builds, so I expect it will come out at some point to the public. Of course, I'm not Apple, so I have no idea when that will happen. I hope this helps, even though it's not the news you may have wanted.

I am looking to get an Apple Watch now it supports braille. But I'd like to know that this bug has been fixed before I do. Can anyone who couldn't see the option for braille say whether WatchOS 7.0.1 has fixed the issue for them?

Thanks for the quick response Joe. I'll hold fire for the time being as braille is my primary reason for getting an Apple Watch.
