Hello everyone
Hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe and as well as possible.
Ever since the pandemic hit and schools closed, my water intake has gone down. I’d drink more water when at school but now it has dropped from low to no intake. I don’t know whether it’ll be right to post here but I was looking for some way to track my water intake.
Is there a way to track my water intake in the health app? As it is accessible and I use it already. If no, are there any accessible free apps for that? Which can provide with accurate info?
Your help will be appreciated
Thank you. :)

Shortcuts
everybody seems to use Waterminder. But it's a paid app, and frankly I don't see the point.
I used to track water intake with a shortcut I did in the shortcuts app. Launching the shortcuts will present me with a menu with a few preset sizes of cups I have. Selecting one will log that amount in the health app. After making my choice, the shortcut will tell me something like "so far, you've drunk 1300 milliliters of water today."
Because thats a shortcut, I could launch this via an icon on the home screen or with Siri, if i'd wish.
Takes some fiddling to set up, but in the end, it's fun and hasslefree.
Reminder
You could set several reminders to let you know you need to drink water.
Oh wow that's what I was…
Oh wow

Never Really Thought of This But...
Hi. I never really thought of setting a reminder or alarm to let me know when it's time to drink more fluids, but it's a good idea. I think I'll tell this to my neighbor across the hall. He actually needs to drink more water and less of other stuff, if ya know what I mean. Per doctors' orders and he says he listens to them but I think not, lol. He's not a VoiceOver user but has become pretty dependent on me, lol. Never checked out Shortcuts myself but will do so if and when I have more time.
hey I also never thought…
hey
I also never thought about it either till 2-3 days ago I I was going through someone's tweets on the twitter web.. cause I'm not on twitter :) and that person said she tracks her water and I'm like water? OH what if something like that could be done, as I do not drink enough water :)
lol
shortcuts help
hey everyone
as @Jakob Rosin replied to my post suggesting me the shortcuts app to use, I fidgeted with the app.
I tried creating the shortcut but was not successful.
just now I looked at the shortcuts gallery and found 'log water' under essential shortcuts.
but it's in ounces. I would love to customize it and change it into liters or ml. somehow the buttons aren't editable VO says dimmed.
any help would be appreciated.
