Is storm shield still accessible, and if all I want are severe weather and flood warnings what if anything do I need to buy within the app? If I just subscribe for the 99 cents per month will that give me what I want? Btw I don't need the lightning subscription.

Oh and does the app work for exact location?

I used to use this app, then stopped after an update changed the interface and I found it harder to use. I just now redownloaded it, and it is much better than the last time I tried it out. You do not need any in app purchases to get weather alerts, but I think you need to get a paid subscription for lightning alerts and a few other things.

I haven't checked out all parts of the app, so it's possible some features may not work with VoiceOver, but the weather alerts are definitely accessible, and yes, they are for your precise location, based on the newer polygon system which only alerts for parts of the affected counties, rather than sending an alert to the entire county when only one corner is dealing with a certain event.

Hi,

I installed the app a few days ago and we had bad weather in the area yesterday so I opened it. I saw on the main screen about subscribing for 99 cents per year and I'm pretty sure that wasn't for the lightning. What might that be for if it's not for the severe weather alerts?
