Does anyone know how to shrink the keyboard size on the iPad?
I have read that you can pinch the keyboard inward if you want to shrink the keyboard and pinch the screen in an outward motion to expand it to the full size again. NO matter what I do the keyboard is always the full with of the iPad screen though. Perhaps there is a different gesture to accomplish this with VoiceOver, but I don't know what it is and can't seem to figure it out.

The only way I've ever found…
The only way I've ever found to do this is to turn Voiceover off. In other words, bring up the keyboard. Turn off voiceover and pinch anywhere on the keyboard. Turn VO back on. If it worked, the keyboard will be small, and there'll be a keyboard handle under the space bar to move it around. Double tap that to make the keyboard big again.
There seem to be a couple of things like this on the iPad. You need to turn off VO to make them work.
Thanks for the Suggestion
Thanks, that does work to shrink the size of the keyboard. It sounds like a work around. I am surprised there isn't a gesture to accomplish this task with VoiceOver enabled though.
Not really related but I…
Not really related but I know there's if you do a twofinger scrub gesture anywhere on the ipad keyboard you can "split" and "merge" the keyboard.
