Dear Mac Users,
I'm a new Mac/VoiceOver user, trying to determine if Apple Mail will meet my needs. I have a Mac Mini running OSX 10.9.4 Mavericks.
Here's my issue: I have a large number of mailboxes for many people, with the mailboxes named for the individuals. Using the Thunderbird mail client on my PC, and the Nostalgie add-on, I have keystroke shortcuts for storing new messages in the appropriate mailbox, or for accessing the mailboxes to review old messages. From what I've learned about Apple Mail, it's possible to label a few favorite mailboxes with a number and then use a cmd-number command to store messages in the desired mailbox. This would be OK for 5 or 10 favorite mailboxes, but not for hundreds. Does anyone know if Apple Mail supports easy access to a large number of mailboxes using keystrokes?
Thank you!

accessing mailboxes in apple mail
Here is a link to a guide that talks about adding mailboxes to the favorites bar so they can be accessed with command along with a number such as 1 2 3 ETC.
The link is here.
