Hi everyone. I’d really love to try iOS 14 beta. But I wanted to know how easy is it to restore an iPhone from a Mac? I haven’t done it since the new iTunes came out with macOS 15. Can someone please walk me through it? Before I try the beta I wanted to know how easy it is to downgrade, and whether or not it’s worth the trouble. thank you

restoring an iPhone in macOS Catalina
In macOS Catalina, iOS device management is done through the Finder. When you connect your iPhone to your Mac, it will appear in the Finder sidebar. Navigate to it and press VO Space, and stop interacting with the sidebar with VO Shift Up-arrow. The interface from here should look very familiar if you've used iTunes before. If you need to restore, there should be a, "Restore iPhone," button.
Keep in mind that if you restore your device down to the stable version of iOS, you may not be able to restore from an iCloud backup. Therefore, you should make an archive backup on your Mac prior to installing the beta in case you need to restore the iPhone.
