Recommendations on Where to Go to Learn About Consumer Product Satisfaction Ratings After Purchasing Braille Displays?

Hello Everyone: I have just received my third replacement Braille display within the last 18 months. That’s four units altogether if you count the originally purchased unit covered by a 2-year limited warranty. In researching which device to buy, I read reviews, combed through manufacturer’s technical specifications and product features, and also drew upon my own past experiences with displays. Thus given my current situation, can anyone recommend a web resource where one can see consumer’s comments or ratings about Braille displays after a six month or year period of ownership. Perhaps some sort of consumer satisfaction survey? I will check back here to see what you suggest. Thanks.

I don't think such a website exists. Most people ask other people for advice and read reviews. But why don't you make a website like this?

What display is it?

Thanks TJT and Lielle for the ideas: of looking at the review site and also starting such a website if there isn't already. My wife had suggested that I do this as well. I'd have to think about how to structure such a site in addition to seeing if any other disability-related group had done this before-- learn from whatever strengths and weaknesses occurred. I appreciate the feedback. The display is Vispero's Focus Blue 40 5th Gen. All of the issues have dealt with various dots not firing up on the braille display. Ironically, I had a Millennium 40 made by Freedom Scientific which lasted about 11 years before advances in technology made it necessary to purchase a newer display. Rycharde
