Hello all,
Today I'd like to discuss with you here a list of new audio games and a list of my favorite games since 20142015. A new audio game just came out for Mac, PC, and soon for iOS by makers of Audio Rally Racing called Space Encounter. With Space Encounter for iOs, Mac and PC, you start as a simple pilot and you'll face many enemy fleets coming from all the universe. During the game, you pick up a ship to face all the space battles. Unfortunately, there is no demo version of the game, the Mac and PC versions are available for 19,90 €, it is very expensive as I see here. I'm not sure when the iOS version will be out.
For more information about their audio games please visit: http://www.ticonblu.it/audiogame/spaceencounter.html?lang=eng.
I personally don't find this developer games interesting to me especially Audio Rally Racing. The car sounds are fake, just like a Vacuum machine. Also, there is no game center support, I'd like to see something new and race with friends and more. I haven't decided yet weather I'm gonna go for this game or not, but I'll definitely update you as soon as I learn more about this game or any future games.
My favorite 2015 audio games are A Blind Legend, Blindfold Hopper, Blindfold Pong and other Blindfold games by this developer, Audio Defense and all other games by the papa team.
Unfortunately, all papa games haven't been updated yet for iOS 9. So I am experiencing problems with their games. Therefor, please try contacting them if you're facing any issues.
Hope we see new audio action games soon.

You want to give Space Encounter a go, it's like the old 8-bit space invaders games of the past. I'm enjoying it. I only got the 19 euros version but it's worth a try.

I'd like to know more about your thoughts. In your opinion, what's worth the try? Audio Speed or Space Encounter? What are the difference?
What are your favorite audio games by this developer or any other developers?

AudioSpeed's good on IOS, gave up with it on the mac because I didn't seem to have any update to improve the steering. I only had version 1 so if the debs did update it I never got to find out. Space Encounter's good because it is effective at what it is, retro space invaders. I think Encounter is better value for money, more game modes, not bad audio. I'd seriously think about giving it a try before Audio Speed in my view, just depends on if you like shooting everything that moves type games or not.

There are 3 different metals on Space Encounter. Gold, silver and bronze, what are the difference? Did you go for these metals or not?

I didn't bother. I'll say that Space Encounter is simple for what it is and the gameplay's generic as it gets but it's a bit of fun. Someone was whining on the audio game forums about how it's boring and things but each to their own. I appreciated it for what it has.

My main concern is that this company has a history of making games that, once finished, you don't need to come back to it.

unless of course, you like that sort of thing.

I prefer games you can come back to and not something that will be uninstalled once you've unlocked or completed everything in the game.

I think this game might be slightly different as it's being funded similar to a kickstarter affair in which people who pay extra get the option of adding content. This additional content will filter through to the rest of us. There's not much variety in ships at this time though I do think this might change. IF you remember Audio Rally racing got a large update post-release.

Hi just a question for those of you who have already downloaded space in counter. I know that there are different ships, however, what are the different weapons?

By Khalfan Bin Dhaher on Sunday, November 22, 2015 - 13:12

Unfortunately, this company has been making games that have no replay value. I played all of their games and ended them, I personally prefer games you can come back to and not something that will be uninstalled once you've unlocked or completed everything in the game. Also, their last few games are a bit boring.
Just my thoughts.

Hey guys.
Love this conversation.
If you guys want to know when Space Encounter is coming out for iOS, it's soon. How i know this is because if you go on
youtube.com
and search for a channel called
Illegally Sighted
, you will find hundreds of accessible games for the blind and for people with low vision.
He also has some videos that review audio games and lots more!

Thank you very much, Igna.
Do please post a comment on here when the app finally is released for iOS.
Btw Khalfan, if you are looking for some cool audio games, try Madness Daze. It's a new released game. I also really enjoy Nebula Game, Surround U, (basically where you turn your body in the direction of the music when wearing headphones), and also Vanished.
I also like MiNDSiGHT. Echo Hear to Play is another.
Kura Kura Maze is also cool!

Could someone do a podcast on space encounter? I have listened to the test run on YouTube, but, I would like to know the differences between the ships. Specifically, the differences of the weapons of each ship. Or could someone just post the differences of the weapons of each ship? Thanks.

My favourite games are blindfold games, blind legend, russian version of godvill, akinator for iOs, audio defence and survive the wild on pc. it would be great to have mouse kick in Russian appstore. Audio rally racing isn't bad for me. What E-Mail did you use to contact the developer? I wrote him about racing game, but no answer.

"Feer, the game of running blind" is also an excellent game. I love the fact there are 3 new missions to accomplish for each level.

It is free on ios but you only get 4 or 5 games free. I find that a little bit teasing.
I mean, going on about a really interesting game, and they stating that you have to pay for it.
