Hello all. I've ben having this issue for the past 6 or so months. Maybe 8 or 10. Anyway, I have an iPhone 10r with back pack studio on it, and I'm hearing crackling only when the app is on, as if something can't keep up. Here is what I mean.
As you can hear it only happens when I have the app launched. We think it might be the processor, but one more person is experiencing it. If you are experiencing the crackling, please list the iPhone you are. using, and any headset you might be using. In my case it is the internal mic but that should not make a difference.

I am experiencing the exact same behavior here. sound crackling till the moment I open the app. the only solution is... closing the app, obviously not a solution haha.

I'm not having this issue, as I'm running the latest beta. Hopefully backpack studio will have an update as to when the next released version will be available, as I haven't herd from them in over a month.

Ios 13.5 although this might have started in either 12 or 13 I'm not sure. No headphones for me and an iphone 10r.. I don't record using headphones.

I've added a "buffer size" slider to the bottom of the settings page in the latest beta - could you try increasing the buffer and see if that helps with the crackling.
