Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck running mush z client on Mac without a virtual machine. Maybe with Wine or something like that? Mush z client is of Course for running Muds. CHeers
MushZ will be hard to run without windows as it is quite processer intensive with MUDS such as Alter Eon. your best bet is to use Bootcamp, and either run windows 10 unlicensed, which has not many llimatations, or buy it and those limatations go away. with the free license, you get a watermark on screen, telling you windows 10 is not activated, click here to activate, and you can't ajust any settings in the personalization catagory of the settings app. haven't tryed the client with Bootcamp yet, I've got a charactor on Alter Eon I haven't used in years, but I'll try it sometime soon and get back to you. can't today as I've got a Zoom meeting with someone form the Canadian National Instatute for the Blind, but stay tuned.

When you say it is quite processor intensive what do you mean? Muds are so old school to run. I know AA does use a bunch of sounds but I couldn’t imagine it being that processor intensive compare to something like swamp? not at all saying you’re wrong, just curious to how that works.

on low-end computers it creates lots of heat
when I was running MushZ on an old netbook, it ran very hot and the fan was at full capasity. JAWS could have been a facture on that, too.
