Hi all, How do I delete data from my iCloud? I'm trying to delete some photos in particular. I've deleted them off my phone but my storage doesn't seem to get any emptier. I would appreciate any advice.

When you delete a photo from your iPhone, it first goes into the, "Recently deleted," album. To clear this album in the Photos app, double tap the albums tab, then, "Recently deleted," then, "select," and finally, "delete all."

You can also view what's taking up the most iCloud storage by going to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage storage. I have found that backups of old devices tend to accumulate in iCloud, and this view provides an easy way to delete them and get back some valuable storage space.

How often do you delete photos and how much space do they take up? I mean if you want to make things easy on yourself and you're sure you want something gone when you delete it then just clear them then. If you think you might change your mind and you're not sure if you should have deleted them then just clear the deleted photos when you're iCloud is full.

If you have the iCloud program running on your computer you should see and iCloud Photos folder and/or and iCloud Drive folder on your system. Then you can navigate to one of these folders and delete the photos on the cloud from your PC.

This is also a great way to transfer items from your computer to a specific app on your iOS device.

Hi members, How does one delete old backups of WhatsApp chats in iCloud? I regularly clear chat history but don't notice my WhatsApp backup in iCloud getting smaller. When you clear a chat does the data always stay backed up in iCloud?
