There used to be a mac app, but I guess it got pulled. You could search and listen to youtube videos and it showed the videos in table form etc but I guess youtube asked it be pulled. That app was nice.
I'm curious as to why you are looking for an app as well. I find YouTube to be really accessible. I especially love the keyboard shortcuts such as k to pause and play, j to rewind, l to fast forward, ETC. you can even speed up or slow down YouTube videos with > and < and skip to various sections of a video with the number keys with 1 bing 10% all the way to 9 bing 90% of the way through a video. 0 starts from the beginning. This all works from the website no matter what browser you use. Anyway, I'm just curious as to why an app.

Why an app?
This question comes from a place of curiosity. Why look for an app and not use the website? It's one of the more accessible ones.
