On the latest ios update has anyone found when texting someone it just puts you in the messages app? For example I tap on a contacts name and tap message and it just puts me in the messages app. I have to scroll and try to find the last text I sent that person to be able to text them again, or I could just have Siri text it but I prefer texting manually.
Is this a bug?

Seems to work for me. When I lookup a contact and tap the message button, the app opens up to that person’s thread with the cursor in the text field. I’m running iOS 13.4.1.
