new to jailbreaking with IPhone?

Hi. Before I start, I'd just like to point out that I am not new to jailbreaking itself, I'm only new to jailbreaking on an IPhone. Anyway, I got an IPhone 5 in december, and have been considering jailbreaking it. Before I do though, I just want to know if the process is different from other IOS devices. I've jailbroken my IPod touch a few times, and not sure how different it is on the IPhone. I've heard about tethered and untethered jailbreaks, and I can probably find an untethered one. I also know I should backup my phone just in case something bad happens. Is that all I should be aware of? Thanks!

You've covered everything you have to do. However, the softwares that used back then is not going to work with 6X anymore, so you have to download the Evasi0n. One more thing, if you are considering to jailbreak your iPhone 5, I would highly suggest to you to do it now before it's too late. Because once the 6.1.3 has released, the jailbreak could take a little longer for the 6.1.3, or maybe never be supported anymore. and Yes, the Evasi0n is awesome because this one is untettered! cool, thanks. I was worried that when I'd jailbreak my phone would lose its activation or something if I would have to restore for some reason. edit: I jailbroke, and I got assistantextensions, unfortunately it crashes my phone. Do I need to use spire to use it or something?

No, you don't need anything to use AssistantExtension, However, as of now, it has not been updated to iOS 6, that's why you are having a problem. You can use AssistantLove as an alternative though. GoodLuck, Musicruz

You may be referring to SiriLoveLyrics. No, they are different.

ah, ok thanks. I don't think I'll actually be able to get that as I don't have a paypal account. I was thinking of starting another thread for this, but I didn't want to create another thread on a question that can be answered in 1 or 2 posts. I was wondering how I can change the limit of voice over's speech rate? I was hearing about that a few weeks ago and kinda was excited to raise it a little.
