we need more control over optimized charging

As a lot of us are out of work right now you may be waking up and going to bed different times and finding your phone is confused when it comes to optimized charging. A lot of the times I wake up and find my phone is not fully charged. I know we can turn this feature off but it would be nice if apple would let us have more control over this such as adjusting the schedule and maybe doing a temp pause in the feature. I guess for right now it's best to turn this off since we are not in our normal routines.

I turn it on for one day and did not work. I turn it off. I have control regarding battery. It is nice to have 11 pro max that I do not need to worry about charging it for 1 or 2 days. Samsung ultra 2020 batter is 5000 MG. Hope iPhone 12 does the same. Maybe one day it will be 8000 mag or whatever is call.

Yes, a schedule feature would be nice like we do have for "Do not disturb". The problem is, if you turn optimized charging off, it'll have to learn the schedule from scratch. So, in my opinion, it doesn't make sense to turn it completely off. The OS only needs two or three days to get the new schedule.

Hi. Just go into setting under batter, there should be a button to turn it off.

Head over to Settings > Battery > Battery condition and toggle it off.
