I occasionally search for mentions of "Voice in a Can" and saw this post.
Early on accessibility in the app was disastrous ... the Alexa service was hearing what VoiceOver was saying and trying to interpret it .. with "interesting" results.
Since I released it I've made several improvements to the app after feedback from visually impaired users, for example I now pulse a vibration when the microphone opens. That said, I'm sure there is still room for improvements.
If you'd like to try it out before buying it, you can use the Beta version for free for a while ... it is currently the same as the store version, you can get it at https://voiceinacan.com/iosbeta
I'm very open to feedback. Don't hesitate to post questions or feedback here.
I spoke to the guy on reddit a couple of months back and he tried to make his IPhone app as accessible as he could, just ask if the watch app is accesible with voiceover and see what happens.

Just ask if the app is accessible.
