Ibooks Skipping Text at Page Breaks During Continuous Read

The subject line states the question. Using iOS 6.1.2 on an iPhone 5, the problem occurs with all of my ibook downloads. Is this normal behavior or can someone suggest a solution? Many thanks. Scott

I've got the same isse

on my ipad II I have the exact same issue. I have no idea how to resolve or recreate the issue. It is spontainious enough to be quite annoying.

Found Solution: Reinstall iBooks App

Katie: First deleting and then reinstalling the iBooks app solved the skipping text problem for me. You will not lose your iBooks library of purchased books since the library is stored in the cloud. Thanks to my good friend Jason for this tip. Hope this helps. Scott

Hi Scott, I got the same issue and I'm intending to uninstall and reinstall it. Unfortunately in IOS9.1 I found out IBooks is preinstalled, so I can't uninstall it. Are there other solutions?
