As of the latest YouTube for iOS update, the app freezes and ultimately crashes whenever I have a video open and I try to use the voice over three finger swipe gesture to scroll down toward the comments. Running an iPhone 8 with the latest version of iOS. Anyone else having this issue?

Surprised no one else has chimed in on this. I’m assuming that means folks here either don’t use the YouTube app or they actually tried what I described above — opened a video and swiped up with three fingers — and couldn’t reproduce the bug on their devices.
Fyi if anyone else does come across this issue, here’s a workaround:
Place a finger at the bottom of the screen and slide up until you locate the bottom most item on the screen (usually one of the recommended videos that appear under the video info/like buttons etc. Now single finger flick once right to move to the next item. This seems to bypass the bug and you’re now free to three finger swipe your way further down to the comments

I was about to come here to make a new topic when I noticed yours. I'm experiencing the same thing. It's annoying and I'll likely be using a browser to access YouTube until it's fixed.
