I've never used contracted braille with BSI, mainly because I keep hearing it's unreliable when it translates.
And you can ask siri how to write symbols in braille, the answer unfortunately isn't accessible to us.
Go figure.
I'd ask a sighted person who happens to know braille if it's accurate just to make sure, but it does work, we just can't benefit from the result, hense the link I posted above.

Contracted Braille
I use contracted Braille all the time. I don't have any issues with it. I write in the English U.S. version. I don't like to write using UEB.
