I am using a MacBook Pro and wanted an external keyboard, wired or wireless. I was looking for a keyboard that has all three: command, control, and option keys on either side of the space bar. Any recommendations?
Go for the apple magic keyboard. It's got everything you could need. Charge with lightning cable thats included, run wired with same cable, has all the keys that you find on the macbook, including function keys. It's like $89 on amazon, but well worth it. You can get about a month of charge, and also it's the only one that seemlessly integrates battery status in the menu extras menu under bt, and magic keyboard.
Okay - update. I had my wife look at the different Apple magic keyboards. She noted that the magic keyboard with numeric keypad had the control, command and option keys on both sides of the space bar. The cost at Amazon was $140. I got this one. It was rated 4.7 out of 5. I'll try it out tomorrow and see how it works. I have a wireless keyboard, but it is a PC keyboard with the key layout a little odd. Thanks for the input on the magic keyboard.
