I can't seem to find the app updates area in my account

for a strange reason when I go to my account on my I pad air 256 I can't seem to find the updates area.all I see is the my account balance.wheere can I find it.
I don't have an iPad but this might be similar. Go to my account, and go down to where it says personal recommendations or add funds. From there, take three fingers and swipe down twoards the bottom. You should hear refreshing content. Now explore and you if you have them will hear upcoming updates, or if you have them set to on, they update automatically. However, that was the hard way. The much easier way, again I think this should work to, is tap three times with one finger to bring up the context menu. Then you flick and it will say updates button. Hope that helps. Oh, i mean tap three times on the app store icon.
