Reddit Application Accessibility

Hello all,
As I started using the Reddit app. For example, if you wanted to go to the browse tab, you wouldn't know what you're pressing because the button isn't labeled. As a matter of fact, most buttons aren't labeled clearly. For example, if you wanted to login and wanted to show your password, all you would find is something along the lines of "icPassword24".
Or if you wanted to go to the Community tab, you wouldn't know where you were in the app.
The point I'm trying to convey is that the accessibility issues with the Reddit app can and will be annoying at times and it doesn't make sense why it isn't accessible, given that the app is loading mostly text.
All in all, Reddit is a great app but the caveat is the accessibility.
Regards,
Clifton

There must be someone you can reach out to there. I tried it a long while ago and noticed the same thing.

I too use Dystopia and love it.

As of installing it, it worked flawlessly and ran like a charm. Now I don't have to fumble around with the Reddit app. This'll be useful when I feel like reading stupid stories.

I have been on Reddit since 2017 and have only used it a little bit. The website itself isn't that bad in terms of accessibility with VoiceOver, but rather cluttered. I only began using Dystopia toward the end of last year but really like it. I'm still a bit confused on some of Reddit's features such as flares, but the developer of Dystopia has done a very nice job. He seems to update it a lot too, which is pretty awesome considering he's probably still in high school or something.

I've been using it for around 3 months now and it's a great app.

It's still in beta but hopefully soon will be availlable on the app store.

If you don't want to use a beta there's also Bacon Reader. You can find it in the appstore, it's made by the same guy who made Distopea. It is also very accessible.
