iOS and iPadOS
So I recently got an iPad Pro second generation.
I began installing all my apps, that’s when I realized that there was no WhatsApp what so ever for iPad.
I tried using the web version but it’s not accessible at all.
I really enjoy using WhatsApp on my phone so I don’t really see why it can’t be on the iPad too.
I really hope they find a way to make the iPad app soon.
So, for now, does anyone have an accessible version of the app?
I would really appreciate your help.

WhatsApp relies on a Sim card
WhatsApp relies on a Sim card I believe, so was using your phone number to send and receive messages. Unfortunately the iPad is a tablet, so it doesn't use Sim cards. Plus it doesn't have any carrier or phone number assigned to it, therefore it's not possible.
Sorry
WhatsApp is used with a Sim card which comes from a carrier, that's how you received your phone number. If it were for iPad, it wouldn't even be possible to use, because iPads don't use phone numbers.
Oops, posted more than once sorry
When I posted the other time, it sent an error message. So I must've made two different post. I apologize
Whatsapp Alternative
Hey there.
While WhatsApp isn't available on the iPad, there is another (more trustworthy) app on the market which should fill that nitch. Also, you can have it on more than one device at a time, even though I haven't figured that part out yet.
That app being signal. It's fully accessible from what I can see, even if a few buttons are mislabeled.
I would honestly strongly encourage people to use Signal over WhatsApp anyway. Given Facebook's recently horrible history with privacy and the stuff that is going on with a possible injunction, I cannot in good conscience recommend using it. Signal, however, is not affiliated with Facebook.
signal on the iPad
I agree with Gar that Signal is a great alternative toWhatsapp. I have it on both my iPhone and iPad. It is accessible and more secure. Just install it on your iPhone, activate it, then after that install it on the ipad. Once you install on the iPad, it will ask you to scan the qr code on the iPad's screen. you go to the settings on your signal on the iPhone and you choose link devices. you point your camera at the iPad screen and it will scan the code. Keep the phone camera about 10 inches from the Ipad when you screen. Also, if you have a tendency to keep your screen curtain on, make sure to turn it off on the iPad to make the code visible for scanning.
Sounds great,
Sounds great,
Thank you very much.
One question though, do you also have to join groups and stuff like on WhatsApp?
Thanks a lot again.
Whatsapp on the iPad
You can use it as a private messenger to send and receive messages from friends who installed the app on their devices. You can also create or join groups.
