Does anyone know of any accessible food ordering apps for the iPhone? Uber eats no longer works as well as bite squad. The only one that I use is door dash. Thanks.
Its usable, because my husband figured out the issue of getting stuck on the screen where you tap to get to the place you want to order from.
He could see that you couldn't swipe, or that Voice Over wouldn't move if you tried to swipe, but the menu is still there on screen.
Just try not to swipe at first after opening say, Burger king, but touch the middle of the screen or below, towards you, , until you hear something different than the name of the restaurant and the address.
And don't go back there unless you really want to know the address, because it will get stuck there again.
Hi. I just tested it. i didn't order anything but I could pick the place, and see the menu items. If this is what you were stuck on, either you hadn't updated, or maybe it's a weird thing i don't have. In any case, for the original poster, grub hub is accessible very much. Everything is set to a heading such as, ten wings heading, item price five dollars heading. Hope that helps.
The biggest problem is that once you get into the menu, you can't see an item description without double tapping and selecting the item. That to me is a huge time waster and something that this app didn't used to do.
Postmates, GrubHub, DoorDash are fully accessible. UberEats is mostly accessible, but company doesn’t care about the issues. Like adding/removing toppings.
My fave is DoorDash. Fully accessible. Item explanation is on item itself, no need to activate item for explanation.
Heads up about Postmates, they are usually a few dollars more on everything. At least in the city I’m in. A major Metro.

Might try Grubhub.
Haven't used it in a while, but it was accessible last time I tried it.

Have you updated?
