Episode 0 wasn't so bad, but episode 1 is a nightmare.. Also with no available walkthroughs for the blind friendly mode its even more frustrating. How is this considered fun? Cool music, sound affects, and voice acting, but things like the solar panel and the science department are a headache waiting to happen.. Locations vanish, and the panel just doesn't make sense to me. Its like a bad joke as far as games go. I'm damn near to the point where I don't want to bother with the game anymore.

I gave up in episode 3
The issues you describe were actually no issues for me, but there are other challenges that are much more challenging in blind mode than they were actually supposed to be. As for vanishing locations, just escape out of the move to prompt and invoke it again. That should refresh and update the list of currently available locations properly.
I gave up on the Muffin puzzle in episode 3 that involves changing winds, in Raven's mission. I can't call it a rage quit, though. I've loved the game and enjoyed it immensely up until that point. It was exactly my genre, although I didn't know it until I found Code 7 as I have never seen or played a similar game before, but it just struck the bell. The story also resonated with me really deeply and I think it's incredibly well crafted. So I regret quitting, but I just couldn't go on any more. Even though you program a drone in that puzzle and I am a programmer myself, the twisted logic required and the lack of information provided to be able to imagine that puzzle successfully was just too much for me. If anyone has completed that puzzle and has a working solution, I'd actually, in all seriousness, be willing to pay for that.

Lucky you..
I don't like text based games on principle, because whats fun about typing like you're doing a report or homework? But it was so highly recommended that I got it.. When it comes to the solar panel I get it to rotate to 12 and to 30.. I can't get it to 22 no matter what numbers I type in. As for that science place, I can't find any way to the upper dome level.. I'll go to every choice it gives me, sometimes new choices pop up, I type one in, and the next time the new ones are gone again.. Maybe the latest version has bugs or something. I think I'd rather watch a sighted friend play this, and maybe take notes for when I play it.. Or perhaps just watching them play would be more fun than playing this?
I can't remember episode 1
I can't remember episode 1 very well any more, unfortunately, as it's been quite long since I last played that one. However, the solar panel uses compass directions. In other words, the number you see should be the absolute rotation in degrees that it's currently facing. The numbers you input can be either positive or negative, I believe, so you actually input by how many degrees it rotates to either side, not the absolute value it should reach. This needs to be figured out via trial and error, though. Perhaps this just is not your type of game in general, which is also implied by your description. In any case, I think it doesn't matter exactly where the panel is rotated, it has a quite large range of tolerance, you just need to turn it all the way around opposite to what it was facing at the beginning, basically.

I would suggest talking to the developers
The two working on this game are actually quite friendly and might benefit from this discussion. It's not necessarily an easy game per say, but it is doable. Have you tried a walkthrough for the sighted version? Many of the puzzles are likely similar enough that they should be solvable that way. It's unfortunate you're having so much trouble, but I bet you could find some help. This is a game I'd really like people to play more, because it should by all accounts scratch the itch of all of us looking for less simplistic games.
Isn't this what gaming should be about?
Hi.
Well, I don't see the big problem here.
code7 has all the things which all of our audiogames have been lacking for the last years or so.
A quit good storie, an interesting way of playing and actually mind boggling puzzles.
Yes, the game is actually difficult, but that's exactly what I love about this thing.
I think the big problem is that people are so used to piss poor game design that if they see a harder challenge, they instantly rage quit on a game. Go try again, it's really awesome if you just imerse yourself into it.
Greetings Moritz.
I have warned about this in a previous thread.
Make something too easy and people will get bored by it. Make something too hard and people will be enraged by it. So, the million dollar question is, where is the middle ground? Just proves the point on how we all differs.
trouble with the camera puzzle
Hi, I'm still having a lot of trouble with the camera puzzle in episode 1, where you are supposed to turn them so you can go through. I don't understand how the spaces are numbered, and what will make them turn in a certain way. If someone could explain this puzzle to me in more detail I'd be very great full.
I do like a challenge..
I don't like objectives that are undoable.. Or that I can't figure out without jumping through hoops of fire. I've checked out a few walkthroughs but I can't really understand what steps they take to compleet the missions.. This is a great game I'm sure for the sighted.
Camera puzzle
Hi.
Yeah, the cam puzzle is a bitch, it really boggels your mind.
the names of the different rooms are quite logical, you have 11 to 15 21 to 25 and so on on the horizontal axxes, and numbers 11, 21 and 31 on the horizontal one.
Greetings Moritz.
