Hello all,
When I have my Orbit reader connected to my iPhone 10S I notice the cursor blinks all the time. Is there a way to stop this from happening? It is driving me nuts.
There is no setting to disable blinking cursor with VO, and you are correct the Orbit settings would not apply. On the Orbit that would be loud I imagine, I hate blinking cursors in general no matter the display. I'll see about calling Apple Accessibility and putting in a suggestion, since every other screen reader I can think of allows this to be disabled or the rate changed.
Hi, I am sure you checked this but by default if the batery is below 10% the cell in the far right corner dot 8 of cell 20 blinks off and on until it is charged. As I said I'm sure you thought of this already but can't think of another reason since I do not have this problem with the orbits I have taught and worked with. Best of luck and do let us know what the colperate was.

so thats it
We all wondered what was making you nuts. smile
I looked at the user guide. It says you can set the blink rate
to off by choosing zero. press select
it says. Worth try.
But voiceover may well over rule your orbit.
I am sure you looked in the braille settings under voiceover.
No VO setting exists
