Hello all. :)
A Blind Legend audio adventure game is now available for Mac and PC, it just came out last April with few updates and improvements. The audio game quality sounds more fun and realistic than the iOS and Android versions of the game. A Blind Legend for Mac and PC can be played using a pad controler or the arrow keys on your keyboard, just like any other accessible video games on Mac and Windows.
A Blind Legend for Mac and PC is a payed game and it can be purchased from the online Steam store. Here is the purchase link for both platforms:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/437530/.
Steam is one of the largest online gaming platforms that provide access to thousands of video games such as Counter-Strike and more. A Blind Legend is the only accessible game on Steam as far as I know.
Before purchasing the game, you’ll need to create an account on Steam to proceed with the purchase. After that you’ll need to install steam on your Mac and PC, also available on iOS. Unfortunately, the Mac version is totally inaccessible, you’ll need a sighted assistant to help you with the game installation from your Steam game library. Follow the instructions, and then a shortcut of the game will be added on your desktop, you can then launch the game and start playing.
I’ve ended the game few days ago and I’m loving it a lot, number of lives are unlimited in the payed version, and there are 2 different game modes on the Mac/ PC versions. I completed the normal game mode, and soon I’ll start playing the difficult game mode.
High fives and happy gaming.

Kind of sucks steam is not
Kind of sucks steam is not accessible on the mac. Do the devs know about this and are they planning on accessibility for installing games?
Steam Accessibility
To be honest, Steam isn't accessible on the PC or Mac with a screen reader. I have written to Valve a few times regarding this, and I'm guessing others have as well. They know... I'm hoping that, with XBOX and PS4 getting accessibility features, Steam will follow.
There is another accessible game on Steam called Grail to the Thief. It's a kind of choose your own adventure game that's self-voiced.
Just recently, a mainstream PC fighting game called Skullgirls added native screen reader support to their game, and it's fantastic! Just leave your screen reader running, and the game will speak everything: menus, tutorials, story text, move lists, everything. It's very impressive, and I highly recommend it to anyone. This is the level of accessibility I'd love to see in mainstream games in the future.
For anyone curious, I've covered all of these games on the IllegallySighted Youtube channel. Just look for the PC Accessible Game Spotlight playlist.
Yah I dunno. I hope steam can
Yah I dunno. I hope steam can become more accessible. It's been years though and they so far have not made any changes to accessibility as far as I can tell. So for now looks like I won't be doing a blind legend on mac or pc not until steam is at least 80 percent accessible.
i wish...
I wish the people that develop for the blind would source somewhere other than steam. Because every time we are buying on steam, we are supporting a company with these practices. that is why I will not buy from these devs. I bought grail to the thief, but not through steam. i bought it directly from them
what would
would would have been easier is if they could hosted the game on their own site and created an installer for it. I mean, is it really that hard?
Agreed
I totally agree with all comments above. I'd love to see more accessible video games on Steam and improved accessibility features on Steam for both platforms.
For those who are curious to know how A Blind Legend for Mac and PC is played, I've recorded a demonstration this evening to show blind gamers how video games are played on the Mac using a pad controller and a keyboard. Unfortunately I was unable to demonstrate how the game is played using a pad controller because I don't have one. Below is the podcast link:

Enjoy and happy listening.
How are people playing?
I don't understand, how are people playing A Blind Legend on the Mac if Steam isn't accessible? I downloaded the Steam app but nothing about it is accessible. Is there a way to download A Blind Legend if we paid for it through Steam? This is so frustrating trying to find good quality audio games.
A blind legend
I purchased the Mac version from the Mac app store several years ago. Hopefully it is still available there.
