does anyone out there who is a developer have the source code for Jim Kitchen's games? I would really like to play them on my iPod touch and other iOS devices I may get in the future. thanks.
If you wanted to do that, thegames would have be completely rewritten from the ground up. As it stands right now the source code probably wouldn't run under iOS since it's not swift or objective C.
To the best of my knowledge the source code for the games was never released. If it exists, Bryan Smart (@BryanSmart on Twitter) is probably the person to ask since I believe he released a version of the games that would run on later versions of Windows that don't have the Visual Basic 6 runtime they required.
That said, porting the games to iOS wouldn't be a trivial process and would likely require a great deal of effort for the developer with very little return. It's also possible that some of the games either wouldn't translate well to a touch screen or wouldn't be allowed in the app store.
It's a nice idea, but I don't think it's realistic.
Jim Kitchen has been dead for over 4 years now. I don't think the source code was ever publically released to anyone. This also wouldn't work for a variety of reasons. The games are coded in Visual Basic 6, which as far as I know is not compatible with Apple's Unix system or the ARM processor architecture in general.
Second, Apple probably wouldn't let these games in the App Store for a variety of reasons. The primary factors include the adult content, the lack of visuals, and the fact that many of the sounds he used are copyrighted. It's a nice idea, but it probably won't happen. You'd be better off writing the apps from scratch and sideloading them on Android.

Not Much Chance

This will never happen
