Hello all,
I just bought a new iPhone 7 a month or 2 ago, and last week there was a bunch of flooding and some severe weather in my area and even though I have emergency alerts turned on I didn't get any alerts and with the amount of rain we got I should have. We had similar weather 2 years ago, and I had a different iPhone 7 at the time but I was constantly getting the alerts that almost break the eardrums when they go off. What else should I do on the phone to hopefully insure that I get alerts like this in the future?
Thanks.

Same Here
I also have an iPhone 7 and have those alerts turned on in Settings. But only the Weather Gods severe weather alerts are coming through. I only got one or two of those native iOS emergency alerts last year shortly after I got my iPhone. I thought they'd be fixed in iOS 13 but it appears not. Wonder if anyone has reported this to Apple? Or perhaps something else has to be enabled first on the phone? I'm not sure but should have more time to investigate this tomorrow and maybe when I'm at my parents' place in a bit.
Re: notifications
I have weather gods but I don't have severe weather alerts turned on in that, I guess I'll have to do that. At least I know it's not just me and there's not a problem with my phone.
