I just tried backing up my iPhone 6 Plus to iCloud using iTunes on my computer, as when I try backing it up using the phone itself, the backup sticks at 1 percent and never goes any higher. Unfortunately, the backup attempt I just made using iTunes failed as well, even though I successfully backed the phone up to my computer yesterday morning. When the process finished today, I got, "This iPhone has never been backed up to iCloud. Today". And I want to back the thing up to iCloud somehow, but am feeling as if no matter what I do, the backup isn't going to happen. Is there a procedure I missed somewhere?

I’d try a restart on phone. If that doesn’t work, sign out and back in with iCloud.
