Well, they got back to me and will forward the files and crash logs I sent to the devs next week. This is good for us as iOs 13 is probably going to be released to the public by next week.

By ming on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

hey! this weekend is a very good one!
I spend some of the time to play this game and I am from level 14 to level 20
haven't bit level 20 yet.
because the final boss is very strong one! :)
anyway, I will try my best!

By Igna Triay on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Getting 3 stars in level 20 is really hard lol. I I managed it, but you have to practicly play a flawless game, not making a wrong spell even once. Love this game

By That Blind Canuck on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Hi, so I've reached level 13 and have gotten 3 stars in all previous levels, but did notice something on level 11.

When completing the level, you don't hear the sounds indicating the number of stars you got. Even though, when viewing the list of levels, if you swipe through each level you've completed so far, they all seem to indicate how many stars you've collected, all except level 11. At first I just thought that this level didn't have any stars to collect, but when I looked at how many stars in total I had collected, the numbers didn't add up to the ones I could tell I had collected.

Not sure if this is by design or something that was forgotten, but perhaps I could suggest that when viewing the list of completed levels, that we can see the stars collected for that level, and possibly hear the sounds when completing the level.

Either then that, The game is absolutely fantastic and a blast to play.

In addition, how can you view the hats you've unlocked. I'm guessing that if I were to unlock one, I would be notified and I've yet been notified, so I'm guessing that I haven't unlocked any so far.

Thanks again for an awesome game.

By KE7ZUM on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

You cn view the hats in endless mode when you play. I only know this due to a demo.

Take care

By Erick on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

If you are ever going to be making a seequal to the game, I'd be happy to do the voices for it. The music however I will have to wait on because I do not have the propper equitment yet, and the stuff I use for some reason crashes on me. However, if you would like those 1 shot elementals I can do the voices for if you like for earth, lightning, ice and fire. I'm going to get on with it right now and then I will send mytruesound an email because I've noticed that the elemental sounds when they die dont' really have a vocal noise and should. Thanks.

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Going to answer some questions now. Keep them coming!

Stars in Level 11. The way the game is programmed is that when the level ends, it checks whether you should unlock anything. If you should it then shows you what you unlocked and ignores any stars you might have got from the level. The stars in level 11 might be due to some programming leftovers but they shouldn't be calculated in the total of 57 stars. We might fix that in the next update but we're going to focus on the more critical things first!

Unlocked hats. Unlocked hats can be found in the Endless Mode screen. We didn't have time to implement a notification screen that would display whenever you unlocked a hat but for now, you can check all the unlocked ones before you enter the Endless Mode.

Voices. Thanks for the interest Erick! Honestly we don't have any voice work planned for at least few updates but thanks for showing us your interest. We might consider it in the future! :)

Thanks once again for everyone with the support! We do not plan on giving up on this game so expect great things to come at some point. The next update should hit in a week or two and might include some new levels but no promises yet!

I heard an archived livestream that Liam did of this game when it was released September 1 and it inspired me to try and play through it in its entirety, as I had purchased it but hadn't yet gotten around to doing it owing to work commitments and being laid flat with the flu. I must say that this is one of my favorite games, right up there with Tube Sim and King of Dragon Pass, which are definitely my all-time favorites! This was mainly because of the immersive story, Saundaman's obsession with tea (I'm a tea addict too ;), and the voice acting on all fronts. I appreciated that differing dialects were represented. I am definitely excited about new content, and am open to purchasing it if you decide to make it a season pass in-app purchase. I also had an idea for other content based on what Saundaman said regarding audio elements. Perhaps during those times when we aren't saving the world from plotting evildoers and fighting the elements that come from distortion portals, we could learn recipes for different potions (or rather, teas) to help the citizens of, say, the Village of Tonori with their day-to-day woes. It could be a conglomeration of different ratios of the elements, which might get complex! Giving someone the wrong tea might make them grow warts, for example, which could make for some humorous (or disastrous) results. Thank you for creating a masterpiece to share with us! Keep on keeping on.

By Sabrina on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

What is tube sim? I became curious. Is that accessible? Yeah this is one of my favourite games; It goes with six ages and king of dragon pass and is number three of a long list of games I have played. I am going to make a recording on my youtube channel.

By Jimmy V on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

In the next update it would be nice to have the option to play in landscape or portrait mode. My iphone I always use in portrait. Keep up the great work, one of the most unique games I have ever played. I love the music room. The music is so well done

By Jimmy V on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Sorry for 2 posts in a row but I was wondering can this game also be played on an i pad? Would be pretty awsome

Haha, so being stuck at home getting over the flu means I have too much time on my hands. I came up with some more ideas that you can take or leave as you wish. I'm writing them down since the developers have mentioned that they would like to continue with the Audio Wizards universe.

I know that in some mainstream games, there are typically different levels, which generally go through different themed worlds, so maybe there could be a mode of gameplay where there were different worlds to pass through, without any rhyme or reason, such as prehistoric, polar ice caps, island paradise, etc. It would mainly just mean hearing different ambient noises, either intermixed with the elemental cues or simply before and after to add a bit of variety. I don't want to cause additional challenges for the deaf-blind community though, so perhaps hearing intermixed with elemental cues or before/after for scenery could be an option that one could select.

I also thought about a mode of gameplay where using the wrong spell, particularly the element of the enemy, would result in you helping that enemy to grow stronger. Perhaps it would turn into one of the larger elementals, a trickster, or resurrect one of the evildoers from episodes past.

This would be a rather far-fetched idea but I even thought that you could probably create a Tetris or Bejeweled game using elementals. In this case, you would just be playing around with them, and not in any danger. You would just need to use the correct spells to blast the unwanted ones out of the way, but you would obviously still need to follow the rules of the games in question so you couldn't just haphazardly blast your way to a win. I guess this would just be proof that wizards can have fun with magic too, especially when nobody is putting any demands on their time. I suspect that this would involve more coding since you'd have to somehow configure a grid layout though, so that might just be my mind going on a wild and wacky ride in the land of flu-induced weirdness! Thanks for reading, and thank you again for creating such a great work of art!

By kool_turk on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Could you please allow the skipping of cutscenes?

I'd love to be able to skip the cut scenes at the end of levels, especially if I've already heard them before.

I'm currently trying to get all three stars for level 19 and the cutscene at the end of that level is quite long.

Obviously I'm not going to skip it if I'm hearing it for the first time, but after a while, having to sit through the end scene just to find out if you managed to get all 3 stars for that level can get annoying.

I know this is most likely a long way off, but I'm curious how you would even make this a multi player game?

I mean, how would that even work?

Hi Kool turk

I believe that fix is going to be in the next update, which should come in 2-3 weeks maximum. We have a list of things to do, and that is one of them. We will send news soon. On the mean time, please, keep talking and sharing about the game.

regards

By David Standen on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

I think a leader board for endless mode would be good so we can post and view each other's high scores. How difficult would this be to implement?

By ming on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

well,
what a wonderful game!
I play it from time to time and still can not bit level 20!

lol
looking forward the next update...

Hi David Standen
Thanks a lot. We also think it would be a good idea. At this moment we started to work in fixing some bugs and things we wanted to improve based on the comments people has been sending for the first update. After that we would like to bring a second update with more elaborated things like the leaderboard you suggest, and some other crazy ideas we have been getting. We also wanted to make a competition to gather ideas from the community, but we need few days to organize it.

By kool_turk on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

I have 3 stars for all levels except for level 20, which I haven't finished yet.

But for some reason, I only have 4 out of the 10 hats.

Any tips on how I can unlock the rest?

By Erick on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Well, I have a few ideas for the game.

Another boss I should recommend would have to be the greater himself, the grand high elemental god. Much more harder then the principle and sends wave after waves of elementals and you have to be fast. Really really fast at the game.

Another idea, brewing tea. You know, if sandomam [and I] both like tea, we should have a brewing tea thing. Like some sort of thing where you can brew tea and help the city, and creating some nasty things that will shrink elementals to bits, or do good things, like grant you more lives then you already have..

those are just some ideas. I got lots more, if you would like the to send them via email for you.. Also question, how do I get the last hat? I only got 9hats, but I need one more hat.

By Maranatà on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Good morning. I find it difficult, when they arrive, to distinguish the lightning and the fire, they do more or less the same sound, it takes a few more seconds to be able to understand them and unfortunately often when I understand it it is too late and I am hit. Another thing, when I'm offered tea, don't I have to do anything? Does the protagonist drink it alone? Thank you!

By DMNagel on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Be careful not to make story mode too insanely difficult. We have to keep in mind that blindies aren't the only ones on the planet. There are people with other disabilities and challenges who would also like to see how and where the story goes. In endless mode, you mainly challenge yourself, so it won't matter how fast things can get.

By DMNagel on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

You will drink by yourself.

By ming on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

hi!
I hope we can save more than 1 super spells.
and use it in once

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Once again tuning in to answer some questions. Keep 'em coming!

Expanding story mode. The story in AudioWizards was left open for a good reason - there is much we can expand upon now! So no worries folks, the story in AudioWizards isn't near its end and we will continue it. We also want to keep the Story Mode difficulty tied to other things than just speeding up enemies and spawning more of them.

Sounds. Some sounds are listed to be fixed in the next update or two. This will be more related to sound balancing. This should make distinguishing sounds more easy.

Super Spell. You can actually "overcharge" your Super Spell! If you don't use your Super Spell right away, the excessive energy you gather will make the Super Spell last longer. The maximum amount you can store is 200%. You can hear it with VoiceOver by touching the left corner of your phone. Super Spell is also something we might expand upon in the future to make it more interesting.

As always, thank you for all the support and interest in the game!

By Maranatà on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

I still have a question: can the game also be played visually? That is, on the screen you can see something or it's just an audio game ?? @

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

The game has visuals and technically you could play it with only those. Unfortunately as the game gets harder, the fog in the levels gets thicker and blocks much of the visuals. To get most out of the game, you will need to listen to the sounds.

Hope this helped!

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Hi. A bit like off topic, but more talk about the game.

Most probably you folks know about the very good podcast of Blind Abilities. If not, and if you want to know more about myTrueSound and AudioWizards, today is the perfect chance since all of that got mixed in the same place. Jeff Thompson always makes a fantastic job, and this time he mixed the game sounds and some game dialogues, with our answers to his questions, in such a way that it really blow up my ears!. Perhaps you want to listen to it. I wish you enjoy it.

Here is the link

By Maranatà on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Is there fog? I did not know! I asked you if the game could also be played using the view because I would also advertise it to my friends and relatives, maybe compete with them in the infinite mode. But unfortunately I don't know how to share it, in the menu I don't find any item to make it download from the others.

By That Blind Canuck on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Hi Maranatà, from what I can see, the game does not have any means from within the app to share, but you can go to the App Store, find the game itself, tap on the "More" button on the app's info page and you should have the option to share, then you can select how you wish to sshare using the Share Sheet that pops up.

Hope that helps!

Hi Wahid Raza

We are very happy that podcasters, streamers, youtubers or anybody presents the game with their own words to the rest of the world. We are also players, and we also have bought games based on the opinions of others. So we go with the same rules here. We even, upon request, can provide sounds of the game and parts of the dialogues in case somebody wants to prepare something special.

Here is a list of the podcasts or videos where our friends have been talking about the game.

By JDawg on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

I love this game I love this game I love this game, sometimes I want to throw my phone against the wall and frustration. :-) I have a question, and I think it’s Level 13 or 14 that I’m stuck on. It’s the one where you’re sick with that disease that messes with your control scheme? How do you get through this level? The controls are messed up, obviously by design, and it’s further frustrating me. :-)

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Hi JDawg

First of all, don't through your mobile phone to the wall. I through myself once a remote control playing Mario Bros, and I didn't feel very happy or glad about myself once the control was broken. A phone is slightly more expensive.

I also think that the level is challenging, and no way I got all the starts there. It is important to remember that every time you play the same level, a new random order is created. Sometimes this random order is hard to remember, and sometimes it is easier. For instance, it can be that all spells have just move 90 degrees clockwise. It is a matter of luck.
My strategy then, as soon as the level starts, and before distortions start to appear, is to start to cast spells to learn as soon as possible where each spell is. If that doesn't help, then I cast all possible spells to the same direction, and one of them eventually is the right one. And sure, when you get the super spell activated, that helps a lot.

Anybody else has other tactic to share?

By kool_turk on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

What I did was cast a spell in the direction of the distortion and if that spell didn't work, cast another spell.

Sometimes I'd prepare a spell to see what element I was casting, but that didn't always work because it would sometimes change by the time a new distortion appeared.

I managed to get 3 stars for that level eventually though, so it is doable.

I'm currently working on getting all 3 stars for level 20, which is not an eazy thing to do.

By Erick on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

Hi, I was wondering how you can unlock the 10th hat? I unlocked all of the hats, but can't unlock the 10th one. Is the 10th one even a good hat, because the 9th hat in endless mode you only get about 1 life sorry for spoiling however, could you please help me with this? Thanks.

By Leela on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

This is one of my favorite games on the app store right now. It's fun, and hard, but not so hard I can't play it. The voices are great, the music is phenomenal, andd I like how you made the controls.

By Clare Page on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

As I write this, I'm still working my way through the AudioWizards levels to experience them all, not worrying if I only get one star per level during this first play-through. Yesterday evening I got as far as level 10, the one where the trickster comes in, but that trickster is far too tricky for me, I have not been able to complete that level yet, even though, when I opened the levels list in AudioWisards just now to make sure I remembered the level number right, I saw that I already have one star for that level. Battling against the trickster made me realise what a good thing it is that, when we're told the game is over, we can repeat the level we finished on as many times as we like. I don't know when I'll play AudioWizards again, I don't play it every day, but when I do I will work on level 10 as much as I need to, before I hopefully complete it. Even though I have read about higher levels in the comments here, I still look forward to experiencing them myself, and, challenging as this game is becoming, I still enjoy playing it. Thanks once again to the developers, and everyone else involved in the production of AudioWizards, for such a good game!

By Hunter on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

I have all 60 Stars in Storymode and have found 6 of 10 hats.
One of them in the endlessmode. But how I could unlocked the other 4 hats?
I think its well, if we have a hats menu in the next update wich have listet all 10 hats with a describtion, what we need or must do to unlock the hats.
I mean with a quest.
And it was cool, if we have a statistics menu with defeeted enemies, fulltime played etc.

By tunmi13 on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 - 00:13

The sounds effects are both hilarious and engrossing. I'm now at the section I believe a level or two past learning the super spell, I love Sondaman's major tea addiction. This was a very good idea and it worked out! Great work MyTrueSound!

By ming on Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 00:13

well, my endless mode's high score is about 600 thousands!

I just can't stop playing it every day!

By tunmi13 on Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 00:13

Spoilers included, you have been warned!
After some time I finished the 20 levels. I personally disspised of the principal in level 20, especially when he started casting 3 spells at a time.
Mesafort was pretty hilarious, with his drained quotes. "Probably should of done my push-up routine today" was my favorite one.
I disliked the tricksters, but loved the idea of it. The fact that it changed elements each time you hit it was very hilarious and annoying.
I haven't started playing the Endless Mode quite yet, Sophmore year's very busy, but I'll have Saturday opento freely compete with you guys and post my high score!

By kool_turk on Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 00:13

I think I only have the tea despencer hat to get and I'm done.

Getting three stars on level 20 I must say is a real pain, no casting the wrong spell, or getting hit, not even once.

Still, I managed it after a few weeks.

I am curious though, if an online mode were to be implemented, how would that even work?

I really would love to make the online mode, but in order to get there we really need to get further with the number of downloads from this. We really appreciate the work that all you very nice people are doing spreading the word about this one. Feel free to keep talking to your player friends about AudioWizards. If we can, we will do all we can to bring you new surprises in the next months. And by the way, stay tuned next week to the forums. We will share some news.

By Hunter on Thursday, October 24, 2019 - 00:13

I have unlocked all 60 Stars in Story mode. But I haven‘t get the master wizard hat with 100% score. Is it maybe a buck?
