Hello everyone!

This is Borja from NaviLens, an innovative technology that makes spaces more accessible for the visually-impaired community and that is facing great success as it is currently expanding. I would like to tell you a bit about the concept and how this works.

As I was telling you, Navilens is a new system of smart digital markers that make spaces more accesible.

These markers are colored codes similar to the QR codes but with technical characteristics that allow their reading in conditions that no other code has.

NaviLens helps users to obtain useful information (for instance, lines that pass by the bus stop, next departures, description of the stop, incidences in the service, etc.) in the format and language adapted to the user's profile, helping to improve the accessibility of any space as well as the user experience.

Do you want to check that through a video of our implementation in Barcelona public transport system?

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS_rnciMN1Q

Also, here are some testimonials of our users:

There is also a domestic version of the NaviLens technology for you to tag daily elements, detect and read them inside your houses.

Would you like to hear more about this domestic version?

The only problem is I imagine a lot of us aren't going to be able to understand it as it is not in English. do you have a demonstration video in English?

Thanks so much.

I heard about this first on the Eyes on Success podcast. It sounds like a great idea and solves a few problems. I hope it is widely adopted and becomes more useful.

Hi,
Just saw the videos, and it is totally interesting! what apps will work with this technology? and is it available for use now?

NaviLens App is already available for iOS and Android. You can download them in App store for free as soon as you want. And in your language, of course!

Yes, it does work everywhere. Internationally and both indoors and outdoors. You can already start by using the blank tags at home!

I have been using the domestic version for several weeks. It is very helpful to label things that I can't read or scan successfully with other apps. For example, I can label three different eye drops boxes that all look alike. The app is 100% reliable as long as i always attach the correct label to the object. Since the app alerts you as soon as it sees the entire label, you might be able to use it to find things that you drop on the floor if they land label up. The NaviLens public option seems to have some exciting potential. It could help us find bus stops, doorways, and even that Uber that seems to be parked somewhere out there.
