iOS comments, and, selecting text with keyboard

I just got my new 7th gen iPod touch yesterday. How do I, using a bluetooth keyboard, select text on the web, copy it to the clipboard in order to paste it into notes for reading as in speech notes, in public, off a braille display later on? I'll be using a qwerty keyboard for most of my work and sometimes a braille display keyboard. I'm sure it can be done, just not sure how since this is my second day with the latest iOS device. I know the alt key is option, and the windows key on my keyboard is the command key. I tried some blindfold games, some have keyboard ability, some do not. overall I like those games, including the circus master's revenge game. And since many apps have been working better for me on iOS I deleted them from my android phone and will just use them on iOS where they seem to work best for me.

Hi.

As you've probably noticed, in something like Safari you can't just use shifted arrow keys to select like you can in a text area. The way to do this is using quicknav and the rotor. First, make sure that text selection is on your rotor. Then go into quicknav by pressing the left and right arrow keys together. Go through the rotor using up and left together or up and right together, depending on which way you're going. When you get to text selection, use your up and down arrows to choose if you're selecting by word or line or character or whatever, then use your left and right arrow keys to select the text.

When you've selected what you want, use your rotor again and find edit. Then go up and down to share or copy and press your up and down arrow keys together to select the option you want.

It sounds complicated, but it's not too bad once you get used to it. Maybe have a look at Apples documentation and/or some of the other info on here to get all the tips and tricks for using the keyboard.

HOpe this helps.
