Hello to all. A couple of things, love the game. Awesome work. I did record a playthrough of it but I may end up redoing it today or tomorrow. As for @ke7zum Try audio hijack for mac or if you want to use windows, I use reaper and works good here in my studio setup.

By snowyowl on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hi. Thanks for a fantastic game. I am truly loving it but like a few I occasionally got the control centre and stuff when I was about to kill an element but hey no worries have to laugh about it.

I have to be honest its one of the best games i've ever played and its really good fun.

Thanks once again and look forward to seeing what else is added and any new games coming up.

Cheers.

By KE7ZUM on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Remember I have no dongle. So reaper is not goign to help. I could try reflector on mac and see where it gets me. I do want to do a podcast the ke7zum way, if I get the time. Lol.

Just heading to town to buy a gift card because this game seems to be super cool and I love the idea of endless mode. What are the hats?

By ming on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

hey! I think the music of this game are very good.
the music team have done a very good job in it!

By Karok on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

hi all, when I play keep getting thrown out of the game, and bringing up as others have said the notification centre, app switcher etc. so not really playable.

By Sabrina on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I love this. Still not good but I like it so far. Prefering endless mode.

I was surprised that, when I opened AudioWizards on my iPhone 6, VoiceOver only said "landscape", and didn't add where the Home button should be: however, since I've heard VO say "Home button to the right" in several other games played in landscape mode, I've played AudioWizards with my iPhone that way round, and the only time the Notification Centre popped up for me was while changing the music volume in the options, and not in the game itself. I can see the logic in not mentioning where the Home button should be, as there are now several iPhones which don't have a Home button, and I have no idea whether any alternative is available to tell people which way round their iPhones should be apart from being in landscape mode. For that reason, I suggest that, if playing the game with the earpiece to the right on a phone with no Home button doesn't work, try it in landscape the other way round, with small swipes in the game as near the middle of the screen as possible.

For those who own a later phone, Voice Over will say something like, “Charge port to the left.” Or the other way around.

By KE7ZUM on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Well, reflector failed. This might be because I'm running iOs 13 right now. No voiceover through my computer speakers, and this after I entered the air play codee that was shown. I hope either rflector or iOs 13 fixes this so I may do a podcast on this game.

Some of you have been saying that the music is very cool, and so all the merits go to the composers and the music producer.

As many of you know, the musicians are blind, and they participated on a competition to get their music here. Some are professional musicians, and some did the music just for fun just because they are skillful and wanted to help. It was a honor to get their music in the game. All of them got a small economic compensation for their work and the rights to use their music for an unlimited period of time.

We would like to appreciate once more their work and effort, and so we would like to share their names once more.
Mikko Herranen
Andre Louis
Cara Quinn
Jim Fidler
Yukio Nozawa
Zaina Arekat
Remy Chartier
Steve Spamer
Alan Escolá

As music producer worked Janne Kantola, who is a very skillful musician from our neighborhood, and who is actually being responsible also of the music for the future MusicMaze game.

In addition, 23 other friends from the community sent their music compositions to us as part of the competition. We could not select all of them, but we want to say them thanks too. As a compensation for their effort, we are sending to all participants who wanted it, a very cool T-shirt with the logo of AudioWizards and an image of Saundaman offering, obviously, a cup of tea. The steam emanating from the cup is composed by the four elemental elements of the game.

We most probably published the music soon in Spotify and other platforms, as well we will try that it can be downloadable. We want to support them, and so, if you listen to their music, in one way or another you support also their work. We get back about this thing in the next weeks somewhere.

If I recall correctly, home button orientation is spoke when hints are turned on in voice over. Try turning your hints back on and you will probably be able to hear where the home button should be located.

How do I know when to use it? I’m at the level where you have to use it. When I do though, I end up very dead because it takes a while to charge. Any advice?

By Remy on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hi everyone. My name is Remy. My song Dance of the Elements, which plays during the first real boss fight was featured in the game. I also played the Principal. I want to take a moment to thank all of you who are playing this game, and who have enjoyed my music and voice performance.

I myself picked this up Saturday. I've only finished the story mode so far, but I can see why many people would really enjoy the endless version. I found the main story mode to be pretty easy up until around level 15 or so. Then things really get challenging, especially when you get multiple enimies coming at once. And the last boss definitely tests your metal a little. I'm not too proud to tell you I died several times on that one. Ironic, since it was like I was fighting and being mocked by myself. I hope everyone continues to have fun with this one for a long time to come. Kudos to Mytruesound for being so dedicated to this project.

By Remy on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hi Diego, there's a pretty specific sound that plays when your super spell is ready to use. My recommendation is, only use it when you know something big is coming. One of those laughing hulks that takes five shots, or one of those jumping clown creatures for instance. If you know when they're coming you should have more than enough time to get it ready.

By Sabrina on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I just realized why I die all the time. I keep forgetting wich spells are in wich directions. I keep messing up. Then I kind of get happy triggered wich is not good and then I D! I! E!

By Igna Triay on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Great job on the music you made. Also, when you say you played the principal, do you mean you where the voice actor, for him, or you composed music for that bfight?

By kool_turk on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I was playing until I reached level 10, then I decided to go back and try to get three stars for each level.

However, level 13 is slowing me down.

If I wasn't too concerned with getting all the stars I probably would have just done what my nephew does and breeze through the levels and not bother with any of the achievements.

By Joel on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I have one suggestion. In the endless mode, I noticed it doesn’t really speed up. I would like it to speed up the further you go along and get more and more intense. This would make it cooler.

By KE7ZUM on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I just heard an awesome youtube video of this game and wow is it awesome. But to my ear the elements that are coming at you sound alike. I was not waring headphones when listening to the vid thouh so that. could have ben a bit of a problem. Still quite good though. And the music, awesome.

By TamagotchiTune on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

This is just a really really great game. I have been playing and enjoying it all week. I have a question. Lets say my phone dies and i want to charge it. And i put this game on my ipad. Since we dont have to swing it around why not? Anyways. My question is. Will it save my progress i made and will all that be on my ipad? Or will i have to begin from the start?

By MaranatĂ  on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hello! I arrived at level 18, then I can't continue. In the last post I read that there is a spell that helps when powerful enemies arrive or all together. What is it and how is it activated? Thank you...

By AudioWizards on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hey everyone! First of all, huge shout-out to Remy for his amazing performance on Principal! He is a really talented voice actor and working with him was a pleasure. Thanks Remy! Now to some questions.

Super Spell. Like taught in level 11, you can active the Super Spell by holding your finger on the phone screen for a second or two. After that, each spell you use is unstoppable for as long as the clock keeps ticking in the background. As long as the Super Spell lasts, you only need to select a direction to throw the spell. After it has ended, you need to gather energy for it again by doing successful hits. Hope this helped!

The game save transfer. Unfortunately there isn't a way currently to simultaneously play the same save on multiple devices. This is something we will probably implement in a future update but for now, if you buy the game on two separate devices both of them have their own save files. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

Also, as always, thanks for all of the support thus far!

By Clare Page on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Even though I have never yet got all three stars for any level, I am gradually working my way through them, and my game-play is still getting better, even though I still cast the wrong spell sometimes. I find that, even with headphones on, some of the footsteps of the distortions sound a bit similar to each other, so I can use up valuable time before choosing the correct spell. However, I'm currently very pleased with myself for having survived the first of the levels with the distortions which laugh and which we need several spells to get rid of. I know the game will get harder, so I don't know how much longer I will survive, but I'm still enjoying this excellent game.

The stars are mainly just a collectable. Something for people who really want to master the game to collect. However, if you manage to collect all of them you unlock a very good hat for the Endless Mode! :)

By MaranatĂ  on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hey guys, I finished all the levels, it was great. I have a question for the developer. What software did you use to create the monster voice of the last game? I really like that voice, I've been looking for an app for years that allows me to record my voice and modify it with this sound effect! I never found anything.

By MaranatĂ  on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I've tried so many applications, there are all the effects to edit the voice except the one. However I have an idea for the plot of the next levels. What about this? The protagonist falls in love with a girl, a powerful magician kidnaps her and he must save her by fighting numerous enemies until the last clash with the magician; if the game is won you marry him. What do you think?

By Igna Triay on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I've done similar voices likethis in the passed... Its not one specific app, its more of a, group of effects. It depends on what you want the voice to sound like, but these can include a doubling effect, a mix of a voice having a lower or hier pitch than the other voice, echo / reverve... it all depends on you. There's not a specific formula for how to create a voice like that one, its more of a, try and see what you like/ what sounds good, kinda thing. On another note, Remy, damn fine job man. That voice acting was great.

By Remy on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Igna and David, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the performance. It was fun to do. Though I definetly had to drink tea after the final screams.

Maranata, the effect in the last bit is a combination of things. There's my actual voice, which I simply naturally lowered to make it less human. Then they likely used a pitch shift instance or two to give the voice several layers, making it a little more monsterious. There was also a reversed reverberation to make it sound a little otherworldly. I assume that's what they used in any case. It's what I would have done. I only provided the recordings in this case.

About the software, i need to ask our audio developer. His name is Axel, he is currently a forth year student of gaming technologies in the university where i work, and he never have made audio edition before. All the work you can listen in the game, is the result of 3 months work, starting basically from zero. He has demonstrated that he has talent.

About the story for the levels. Not bad. I bet our script writer Jani (who is also the guy answering as AudioWizards) has some crazy ideas on his mind. As you saw, the adventures with Saundaman can get a little bit crazy and surrealistic sometimes, and he also proved to have some talent for telling stories. If I'm really honest, I didn't read the script until I played the game three days before the launch, and then I was laughing very much on some parts.

The most important now for a continuation is getting your support. So if you liked the game, please, call your friends and tell them about the game. That would help us a lot on our way to make AudioWizards2 or AudioWizards Multiplayer.

By Igna Triay on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

That's what I said. It, howevver, depends on you, try out different effects and see what you like. Picture it as a trial and error kinda thing.

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I was wondering, did anyone got already all the hats? If no-one did already, absolutely the first one who gets the ten hats should earn our next game (MusicMaze) for free.

Anyone has 10?
and 9?

By KE7ZUM on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

,the game crashed on me with the level after the tea, the hah hah hah level? As I call it. I notice some things.

1. To me the elements I'm supposed to kill sound the same. I can't tell earth from water for example.
2. I don't sometimes wan tor need the tea guy telling me "good," or "uh-oo."

Until my reflector thing gets fixed I won't be doing a podcast on this game, or anything else for that matter, I kind of can't lol!

3. The acting, Oh boy he acting. Tea guy sounds kind of drab. Is he supposed to sound like that, he does not seem too excited and I don't want him as a teacher in real life. snore.

The music though is amazing. Kind of reminds me of those old classic games from maybe the early 2000s. Neat.

I think that's about it.

I have a sys diag file of the crash, happened at about 2 something I think pm. Who do I send this to

Take care

By Joel on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I have nine hats, and I’m working on the last one. That last one seems to be very rare. Don’t worry, I’ll find it.

By roman on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hello. I played the at when it was came out. I it is a very good game. I love the the way you all guys act. when

By KE7ZUM on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Wowwy! And I'm stuck on the danger level. I'll figure it out.

By garnit on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

You mentioned there being T-shirts given to people who submitted music for the contest to be in the game. Was that a one time thing? Or are those T-shirts for sale somewhere. Because, if they are, I would so buy one.

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

In reply to by garnit

Thanks for your question about the T-shirts, Garnit.
Actually, today we go to pick them up from the store.

We thought that it would be cool that real fans of the game and supporters of our actions could get their own t-shirt, but it is not so simple.
Each of the T-shirts has costed 13 € (ordering 43), and the posting service to any part of the world will be somewhere between 4 and 5 € extra. So if we go to selling them (and that can be hard to do because we are a game company and not retailers) we can't deliver them for less than 20 €. Then it comes the problem of the storage, since the price will increase if we order the T-shirts one by one. But actually we would love to do it.

So, if you really want one, and you are ready to cover the expenses, send me a message to contact@mytruesound.com, and let's see what I can do ;) Then you can take a picture of yourself and send it to all your friends and publish it in social media, because hey my friend, you will have a very nice t-shirt of a very limited edition!

Hi Joel.
It seems you have been the first one to report you got the 10th hat. There might be others that got it first, but if you send me today an email to contact@mytruesound.com, and you give me the name of the 10 hats as a proof of achievement, then I will put you in the list to get a free MusicMaze game, whenever it comes out to the market.
I hope I don't get now hundreds of emails saying that "I was first", "I was first" ; )

By ming on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

hi!
will it have update coming soon?
and I hope we can have In-App purchases, to buy some super spells and... thing like that

The next update will probably hit next week or week after that. I can't tell the contents of it yet but most likely it will be mainly bug fixes.

Also Joel, congratulations! Getting all the hats isn't an easy task. I'd love to know what hat was the final one you got.

By David Standen on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I completed story mode this morning. Currently, I have only 3 stars to collect and 4 hats to unlock. Really loving this game and look forward to future updates.

By Ray Rucker on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

Hi. It's amazing!!! @myTrueSound you have done an amazing job!!!

By David Standen on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I now have all the stars. However, I am informed I have 60 out of 57 stars. Has anyone else noticed this?

By Roxann Pollard on Monday, September 23, 2019 - 20:16

I just wanted to thank the devs for a great game. I know this has been expressed over and over, but I wanted to also add my appreciation. The game is wacky and challenging. What more could I ask for? One of the things I really like is the fact that we can skip the introduction to a level. This makes a big difference in the sppeed of game play. Please keep up the great work and looking forward to more from this developer.
