I haven’t had much time to play this game yet, but oh my gosh I can’t wait until I can play more. It is so very addicting. I love it, and thank you for giving it to us.

By Kelly Sapergia on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I just started playing the game, and like what I've heard so far, though I still need some practice getting the combinations for the elementals right. The music is also good, and I like the idea of the music room. Keep up the great work!

Hi I love this game!!!! I'm currently having issue's with level 15. How do I complete it? It's very tricky. Thank you so much!!!!

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

it is a very good one!
keep up the good work.

By DrummerGuy on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

This game has surpassed my expectations. Thank you for creating this superb game. Keep up the splendid job.

By Joel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Damn... it’s intense. I won’t spoil it here, but it was great.

By Lulu Hartgen on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

It's five in the morning, I just woke up an hour ago and ran to see if the game was in our app store yet, and it was! Oh my, I'm just so thrilled with this game! The first thing I loved was that you had the option to turn the music down, which I needed to, and narrow the stereo field, which I may need to, as the elementals don't make loud noises and because of my hearing I have a hard time deciding which they are. I can't tell you how grateful I am that you play by swiping, not by use of the phone's motion sensors, for myself, with limited mobility and use of my hands having to move to focus on targets or tilt the phone puts so many games out of bounds. I love the sound effects, love my dear goofy master, the music is amazing and I just know it's going to get better.

I have two suggestions for future updates, should you ever decide to do any. It would be very useful to be able to learn sounds as at the moment, and I'm only just starting so I may get better, I can't tell one elemental from another very well and I'm wildly casting spells till I get them! Also it would be useful to be able to replay levels, I wanted to do this at tutorial level, so that I could learn the elementals better, but I was unable to do this. This is just feedback, not criticism. Thank you so much for this amazing game.

By DMNagel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

You can actually replay tutorial levels. All you need to do is get to the main title, then select story mode again. Swipe left to go back levels and keep swiping left until you get to the tutorial levels. I would go as far as saying this game beats CMR.

By KE7ZUM on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Are they going to fix the issue where you activate the status bar or the control center by accident? There was already one user per the forums that did this, and one I was talking to today that did this.

By DrummerGuy on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I haven't had thAt problem where some people have suggested touching the status bar by accident. Since you're not moving your phone, you just need to place it on… Say… A table or some flat surface then just keep your fingers close to the center of the screen and you will not have that problem. Besides, you don't have to do long swipes. The game is great. The music and the sound are just phenomenal.

By DMNagel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

There is an alternative. Just turn off voice over at the start of your level and turn it back on when your level is finished. Not sure if they will fix this, but for now it seems to be a pretty useful alternative.

By kool_turk on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I have my phone set so the control centre can only be activated from the home screen, that way I can't accidentally trigger it in apps.

Hi KE7ZUM
thanks for that information. I didn't experience that problem when I was playing, and I only used my hearing to go forward until level 19. (For some reason I didn't yet want to complete it, so I went to pick up more stars).

But absolutely, I will tell the team and let's see what we can do. We will launch a fix-update, but we still didn't decide when, because this is the first thing we heard and we should plan well what to do and when.

I hope this error doesn't impair the gaming experience much, until we can fix it.

Thanks!

Thanks DrummerGuy for your input.
I think so this is the reason why I didn't experience that problem either, since I also use short swipes, and not long swipes starting from the very bottom of the screen.

By Lulu Hartgen on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I'm having no problems with touching the status bar or anything, I'm used to playing another game that uses swipe gestures, keeping them small is the key. The person who was having issues with level 15? I feel you. I've had to stop for a while till I try it again. The real stomach churner is that he keeps changing his trigger words. If you haven't completed it yet, neither have I by the way, but counter attacking helps, when you hear him talk, disregard old teapot's voice and listen for where the enemy wizard is, then let loose any spell you feel like at him.

Thank you so much for letting me know about the replaying levels tip, I really want to pick up more stars. Thanks again for such an amazing game!

By Igna Triay on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Hi dave,
First off, thanks for this game... its great. Second, the music is good, the sound effects though... amazing. I dunno who did the sound design for this game, but dang they did a fine job. Great job man, keep it up!!! I'm also running, not always, but at times when i do a long swipe; into accidentally opening the... for me it has only been the notification centre, I opened the control centre by accident, but only once. Is there a way to disable opening the notifications centre inside apps like with the control centre? Once again dave; very; very good job man

I downloaded the game and when I open the game. VoiceOver doesn’t tell me what’s on the screen and when I toggle the accessibility option it doesn’t let me do it. I double tap, tap on the screen and it doesn’t let me click it.

Thanks Igna Triay, not only for pointing out the notification centre thing, but also for giving us such a nice feedback.

The sound effects have been done by Axel Lindberg, and at the beginning we counted with the help of Justic Macleod from Zapsplat.

Axel is super talented, and a proof of that is that when we started the project, he had not done that type of work before. What you hear there, is what he did in just two months. Working with people like him, who takes an idea and carry it much further than that, is absolutely amazing and convenient ;)

Hi Angel
Do you have the volume mute in the phone? (that little button on the upper left side of the device to mute all calls)
Otherwise it should work, but if it doesn't, please send us a message to audiowizards@mytruesound.com and we get to watch it closer.

About the accessibility. If you have VoiceOver enabled in your phone, you don't need to worry any longer. If you have VoiceOver disabled, then you can't activate within the game the accessibility option, and so you should activate the VoiceOver first in your phone. That is how Apple wanted us to do. On android devices is slightly different.

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hey! this game is really good so far.
but, if it has some Vibration when it hit the target. that will be cool!

and hope it can have more chapter/ level in the next update!

By DMNagel on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

This game gets crazy at some point. Finish all levels first before asking for more.

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hi! all,
if we can post our score in endless mode to twitter or facebook
it will be very good!
and it is aalso a good way to promote the game as well.

By Clare Page on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Hi! I found AudioWizards in the French App Store yesterday evening and downloaded it: I'm glad to say that I definitely like this game, in spite of feeling that I'm a prety lousy player so far. To be fair, I've only played it once, just after installing it. Having got through the tutorial levels without too many problems, my game-play went up the creek without a paddle when I started playing the game for real, I forgot which sounds were for which element, and my random spell-casting hardly worked. Ah, well, never mind, I'm glad to read above that I can play the tutorial again, that'll be a great help, and next time I'll probably play with the music at a lower volume as well. Here's hoping I'll get better at playing AudioWizards with more practice, although not being very good at this game hasn't put me off it at all! Well done to everybody who worked on AudioWizards, they've done an excellent job!!

By David Standen on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I downloaded the game this morning and started playing whilst travelling to work. I haven't gotten very far yet as I'm still having difficulty sometimes getting the elementals right, but I will get there with practice. I am also experiencing the difficulty with the control centre / notification centre issue during game play, but I absolutely love this game. Keep up the great work, Dave.

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Thank you everyone for your kind words! We're really relieved that so many people are enjoying and talking about our game!

The issues you have had are going to be the priority fix if we can any way to do it (most probably we can!). I can't say a certain day yet when the update hits the store but we will keep you informed.

One more thanks to everyone! We put everything we had into the game and it warms our heart to know it was worth it!

By Karok on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

i think people are having the issues, as am i, when touching the 4 corners to get health, score pause, etc. also, do i understand this title right? if say, we hear an earth distortion coming at us, we have to perform the spell that counteracts it? or are we acknowledging it is say, an earth spell with the first swipe, then the second swipe is counteracting it? i can play the game just trying understand how the elements beat each other. so far though fab game, what's next from this developer? i wish goldgun could have carried on but know we have to look forward.

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Thanks for the feedback! The elements counter each other in a cycle; fire beats earth, earth beats lightning, lightning beats water and water beats fire. These interactions are very typical in many RPG games like Pokemon which inspired this. So when you hear an earth distortion coming, you must select the fire spell and after that, cast it where you the distortion coming.

We as the developers are planning to continue supporting AudioWizards as a game and as a game franschise as far as we can. Our dream would be implementing multiplayer in to the game but that is still very far off. For now we are going to keep updating AudioWizards and keep it fresh with bug fixes, new levels and unlockables. Another team is also developing another game but as I don't know much about it either, I can only say it might be coming later this year.

Hopefully this answered your questions!

By Lulu Hartgen on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

It took me five solid hours, just stopping to tweet now and then, but I got through the story and my word, it was so intense near the end! I still can't quite believe I did it. The last level is, I think, some of the most challenging gaming I've ever done. Now I'm into endless mode and it's crazy intense once it gets fast. One thing I'm noticing, in options there is a speech volume slide control. Is this to turn game speech down? Because I need it turned down, Mr Teapot is seriously distracting, which of course is what he's meant to do, but I'd like to turn him down a little. The speech slider doesn't seem to be doing much of anything right now, though the music volume works a treat and I love the volume interface. I have to agree, the sound effects are just magnificent, and I'm picky. I also really like the voice work too. Sorry I can't spell the names, but Mr Teapot is fantastic, he's incredibly irritating but you have to love him. Mezafort gave me a smile, is that meant to be Irish? It kind of works, but he sounds so eerie and I've gotten to where I like dancing with him. The principle, I won't spoil, but yeah. That really worked for me. Excuse my ramble again, and again, thank you.

By Sabrina on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I am getting this game on Wednesday. Will probably prefer the endless mode. I do not use twitter so I hope that it will be possible to share it on FB.

By Cary on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Hello all. I am absolutely loving this game so far. I haven't seen anything that even compares to audio Wizards in all my time owning an iOS device. I do want to report, however, that I am also having the problem wherein I accidentally trigger the notifications center. this happens mostly when swiping down. Hopefully this small annoyance can be fixed soon. Other than this minor problem, though, I absolutely love this game and enjoying it immensely. thank you for creating such an amazingly awesome game.
Take care.
-Cary

By alex wallis on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

this game is really fun, but I have a question and a suggestion. I would like to suggest two things, first adding an option to skip end of level scenes once listened to as some are very long and annoying to listen to over and over after beating a level.
second, if we beat a level I would like to see a replay level option added, this would be especially useful in the event that we want to replay to get more stars for a level, because at the moment we have to go back to the main menu to reload a level after beating it, but not if we die during play.
now as to stars, what are they actually for, do they make a difference to actual game play, ultimate game ending etc, I mean say I were to play through but not collect all stars for a level, would I get a different ending if I played through and made sure to get 3 stars for all the levels, just to check is 3 stars the maximum number you can get for each level. Over all though its really fun, and well made.

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Good to hear your enjoying our game! Getting 3 stars on each level unlocks a very rare hat for the Endless Mode to use. Other than that the stars are there for the completionists.

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hi!
I hope in the future update. in the option! we can test our headset left or right to see we are wearing it the right way!

By Igna Triay on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I have gotten 3 stars on all levels except the last level, still working on it. On the hats, for now the game says that I have 4 hats, and that there are 10 unlocable hats, but how can one unlocks the rest, if say, they have all 3 stars on every level?

By Lulu Hartgen on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

In reply to by Igna Triay

Regarding the unlocking of hats, I've been playing endless mode for a little while, and I automatically unlocked a hat as I was going along, I think, obviously David will know more than I, but I think they are triggered by things like your score, your spell hit rate etc. I'm basing this on the fact that I had one particularly good play before a nasty trickster got me and I found at the end that I'd unlocked a hat.

Now that is interesting indeed about unlocking a rare hat if you get three stars on all levels. Time to brush up on my dancing skills I think!

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I also handled to unlock 4 hats, but I only have 45 stars out of 57. I'm trying to play the whole game without using my eyes, and sure the last levels are just too challenge to me.

I think I will get the fifth when I get all the stars, and I am not sure if I get one more when I do the last level, which still I didn't want to do just for sentimental reasons.

I'm not sure if the team wants to tell yet how to get the other hats, so I let them to make such decision. But I know it is kind of a challenge to get all of them, because only the most experience Wizards should have the honor to wear them (smile)

By Karok on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hi how do i change hats? i got the one where i can swipe down if cast the wrong spell but when i change hat am just taken back to the hat selection screen? very odd.

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hi! if I change the Hats in the endless mode! does it still usable or effective in the story mode?

By MaranatĂ  on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Hello! I just bought the game, even though I couldn't download it because I'm at work and there's no network here. I have some questions: what are the hats for? Unfortunately I don't understand English very well. Can I play anyway? Would it be possible to include Italian as well? Thank you...

By ming on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

wow! some of you guys are just very good at playing it!
I am now in level 13 and can not bit it!
hopefully I can finished it in the weekend.
love this game very much!

By Clare Page on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I have not played AudioWizards anywhere near as much as many of you have, but I'm glad to say that my game-play is improving, I did several levels yesterday without dying. However, I only got one star per level, as I still sometimes pick the wrong spell, which means it takes me longer to get rid of some of the distortions. I'm not sure what difference that will make to my results when I end the game, I may even here "game over" long before Story Mode is finished, but all I can do is wait and see what happens as I continue to play. Anyway, I am still enjoying the game, even though I'm not good at it yet.

By AudioWizards on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

Hello! Hats are used to give you advantages for the Endless Mode. Each hat has a slightly different effect. I would also like to note that some of the hats are unlocked from playing Endless Mode and some from Story Mode. Most of the hats can be unlocked seamlessly by just playing enough both of the Modes but some may need some thinking outside of the box. We didn't have time to implement tips for the hat unlocks but until we get them done, sharing knowledge is power.

By KE7ZUM on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I would, but I forgot my 10r does not have a dongle so I can plug my 8th inch board and you can hear it. And reflector is broken with windows right now.

By Igna Triay on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

I don't have reflector 3 on windows, but on mac its working fine if you have it if you want to record. Another solution would be to use audio hijack to record the output of your iphone connecting it via cable and opening quicktime, then recording both the quicktime output with a mike output in audio hijack. Hope this helps

By Karok on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

hi all so i hold my xr iphone with the earpice to the right, but when i play it keeps trying activate the home button and throwing me out. also, i can't read the health and other options, as touching the corners is resulting in a spell being cast what is going on please?

By alex wallis on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

there seems to be an issue with the game where VoiceOver often interferes with game play especially while fighting, sometimes it will say things like made with e unity, or it might say possible text pause game and read a load of options, this is especially annoying when swiping in the game ply area. the game is also annoying to play on an iPhone x as I keep coming up against the touch strips for the app switcher or notification center. also a suggestion, but the game should actually say when it moves into landscape if the lightning port should be on the right or the left to help people orientate devices properly. the app definitely needs to be made full screen if possible, I also had one instance where VoiceOverinterfered with game play and it tried to adjust the rotor.

By Unregistered User (not verified) on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 - 17:42

In reply to by Karok

Hi Will
I haven't test on the XR, but if it works like all other phones, swipes don't need to be long, don't need to go from bottom to top. A small movement in the centre are of the screen is already recognized by the game. That way you avoid to activate the home button. Hope that helps.
Anyhow, I pass the whole message to the guys.
regards
