Review
Introduction
I have had the JLab Go Air Pop earbuds for over a year and a half now, and they are amazing, especially for something that costs only around $20 or $30! I typically use them for listening to music, and it's a very good experience! What really stood out to me in these earbuds were their long battery life, three different sound settings, and the magnetic charging case that actually comes with a USB cable built-in!
Physical Description
Since these are true wireless earbuds, they come in a charging case. The charging case is light-weight and short in height. The built-in USB cable is located on the bottom edge of the charging case. It is not very long, but in order to connect it to a computer or power adapter, you will have to use your finger to get the end of the cable out and extend the short cord out. The lid of the charging case is magnetic, and the earbuds are also magnetic so they won't easily fall out of the charging case. The earbuds are circular and do not have a stem. On the surface of the earbud (not the part that goes into the ear), most of it is raised, and that part is used for the touch controls. Both earbuds come with ear tips on them, and they come with extra ear tips in different sizes.
Features
The JLab Go Air Pop has a long battery life, about 32 hours with the charging case according to the user manual. One earbud can work independently, and there is a microphone built into both earbuds. They are sweat-resistant and water-resistant, but the case is not, so the earbuds will need to be dried off before going into the case. The earbuds have touch controls for the volume, switching between tracks, playing and pausing, using Siri or Google Assistant, answering and rejecting calls, and switching between the three sound settings: balanced, bass boost, and JLab signature. My favorite sound setting is the bass boost. The earbuds have great sound quality for their price.
Accessibility
The earbuds have voice prompts to tell you if they're on, they're connected or ready to connect, the battery is low, the sound setting you switched to, etc.. There are lights to indicate charge, but sadly no sounds for that. As mentioned earlier, you can activate Siri or Google Assistant with the touch controls. The touch controls are relatively easy to learn, and I will include a link to information on them.
Conclusion
Even though a lot of good things are expensive in the world, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that these earbuds come at a low price of around $20 or $30. I find the built-in USB cable very convenient for charging the case, since I don't have to keep up with a separate charging cable. I also found the different sound settings to be cool and unique, unlike any Bluetooth earbuds I've had before! I highly recommend the JLab Go Air Pop earbuds, especially for those who value portability, affordability, and sound quality. Thank you for reading, and have a nice day!
