Thomas, thanks as always for a great tip. I have seen these options but I'm a bit confused about the difference between a QR code and a bar code. It appears that 3rd-party apps can also do this, such as Microsoft Seeing AI and the KNFB Reader that is included in the latest update to NFB Newsline Mobile. This technology is amazing though!
Thanks a lot for these tips, Thomas! if you have a QR code that is harder to find you can also use Envision AI's barcode scanner for it. Just open up the app, tap on General --> Scan barcode. Once the scanner is launched, you get tone and vibration feedback to locate the code. Once the code is scanned, you have to tap on more information to open the website.
Hello Thomas. Just wanted to say thanks for this podcast. I am going to purchase a WiFi Smart Plug with a QR code on it, which will enable the beginning of the set up process. I had no idea how to utilize these QR codes, but you came to the rescue again. I find your podcasts invaluable. Thanks for all that you do for us here on AppleVis.
