In this podcast, Kushal Solanki gives us a demonstration of iTablaPro, an electronic tabla and tanpura app for iOS that sounds like the real thing.
The app is ideal for Indian Classical musicians and students. It includes support for all common taals used in Hindustani music, making it the perfect companion for daily riyaz (practice). And the beautiful Tanpura and Swar Mandal create an instant concert atmosphere!

No way!
I was about to submit an app entry for this but I wasn't expecting to see a podcast!
I love this app, the cad$40 (with taxes) or whatever I paid is more than worth it. It's probably accidental accessibility but it's definitely there. Or mor probably very good app design.
I have contact with the developer
I have contact with the developer and have made sure that the app is accessible with voiceover.
Well then thank you!
I first tried iTabla Light around 2020 but bought iTabla Pro a year later.
Absolutely fantastic.
If you can please ask him to do the same for Ilehera :) ... The app is still usable, just less pollished.
Thanks again!! It really means a lot. This app is just fantastic both accessibility and feature wise.
And tabla is the best yet most difficult instrument to learn IMO. Or it's just me used to be a singer first. But still very very beautiful. Takes an hour to tune properly but the exercise itself is worth it and is the 50% fun part about learning / playing it. Again, just an opinion :)
And I don't have any formal raag knowledge so both apps I mentioned serve this purpose as well.
