Prior to September 2024, AppleVis had no external funding or sponsorship, with the only financial support coming from Club AppleVis, a way for members and friends of our community to directly contribute towards the financial costs of operating the site. When David Goodwin announced his retirement, AppleVis was acquired by Be My Eyes, in order to keep it from closing. Be My Eyes is now solely responsible for funding site operations, with no other funding currently being received.
