When dictating by pressing windows H I get a repetitive problem.
Jaws says popup post, and then gets stuck.
I have to alt tab out of the application to get it unstuck.
It happens two times, then stops happening.
On the first windows H Jaws makes a sound like fweeeep like a slide whistle and says Touch input experience.
This behavior Happens every time I restart my computer.
Any ideas or suggestions are well appreciated

This does not happen with NVDA

I – believe – this is the on-screen keyboard. I am basing this off of another panel – Windows Input Experience – which is an emoji panel. As for why this is popping up for you is unclear. However, I would offer the following:
1. Press Windows key + "i" to access Windows settings.
2. In the search field, type – touch keyboard – then arrow down to the – Choose when to show touch keyboard – option.
3. Choose to – never – show it and then close settings.
4. Reboot Windows.
5. Open Notepad and press Windows + "h", and see how dictation goes.

HTH.

Hi Diego:
I recently learned about FS Companion. I would paste your question in there and see what happens. If you have Jaws 2025, press Insert Space and then F1 to get to FS Companion. Hope this is helpful.

I find it is faster than the normal speech recognition that you get when you activate in Microsoft Word or other programs. How has it worked for you all

I find I have no problems with it. I will admit though, that I am using NVDA, rather than JAWS. 🤷🏽‍♂️
