A very weird bug when scrolling in file explorer with page up/down keys

Hey, so I am unable to scroll properly quickly through files when in a File Explorer window. I.E., before if say I had about 79 elements pressing page down on 1st element would put the cursor on the 23rd (real case). But since But since like 1-2 months, each presses of page up/down in various folders from all sorts of different positions only makes the cursor land 2 elements above or below the previous location.
What's even weird is that in dialogs such as save or open, scrolling behaves perfectly normally.
I have just discovered that I simply needed to maximize the windows with alt space, from the system submenu, and the issue is gone since 20 minutes.
Another unrelated free tip, if in the windows calculator (best, most efficient, accessible calculator ever) you are unable to see the history with up and down arrows for each element after the result pane and just before all the buttons you have to maximise that window with the same method and you can get it back. Happened to me countless times and it was very frustrating.
HTH.
